For how long have you played on CG SCP: I have been playing on SCP-RP for a total of 229 hours, beginning in february.
Age: 17 (24/07/2008)
In what country are you located?: United kingdom
Time zone: BST (British summer time)
Character name(s): Joseph 'Gull' Timberlane.
Civilian name: Joseph Timberlane.
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK.
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes I do.
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- I have no previous whitelisted roles.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- Yes, I have recieved a week long ban for innapropriate content, which was due to the use of prohibited language, and a day ban for LTARP. I was also warned previously for RDM.
- The medical department has by far been the department I feel most confident and talented in, and I have enjoyed educating new members of medical on how to perform their duties, and engaging in the various RP scenarios that have happened in my time on the site. Almost all of medical that I have been engaging with regularly have always been pleasant, fun, and engaging people, and they have made me a much better roleplayer and member of the site since my first time being on site. They have helped me grow immensely, and I want to give that back by being able to teach others in a more offical capacity, and provide the same engaging roleplay opportunities they have offered me.
- I am fully confident in almost all procedures that may be needed in medbay, such as psychological, physical, or basic evaluations on personnel, and have performed several in my time on site. I am also open to and enjoy learning new things, and I am constantly learning from my peers and members of personnel outside of medbay.
I have engaged in a handful of surgeries and can work under pressure outside of combative situations, such as in emergency surgeries or during outbreaks of anomalous hazards.
I am able to perform my duties effectively and professionally, and to a standard that I feel is fitting of an professional environment like medbay. I'm always willing and excited to educate new members of medbay, and it is one of my favourite activites, outside of surgeries and psychological evaluations.
- Limb amputation: In a case scenario where a limb is unable to be saved, either due to damage that is too severe to repair, or if an infection has become necrotic and could cause sepsis if left untreated, the best course of action is amputate.
Using /me, I would try to be as accurate as possible in describing the procedure for the removal of their arm, ensuring they have opportunities to engage and influence the outcome of the surgery.
for example "Joseph wraps the arm with a tourniquet above the amputation site, and prepares to administer a general anesthetic". During the duration of the surgery, the individual being operated on may opt to use /roll to influence the outcome of the surgery.
- As a medical consultant, I would be responsible for the training of trainees and combat medics, providing them with the necessary knowledge needed for their duties, and providing medical licensing and CM whitelisting when needed. I also must ensure that any misconduct performed by medical staff be punished accordingly, and that all staff follow the FLC.
Additionally, I should always be ready to answers questions that personnel may have regarding medical issues, and provide assistance to members of medical who may have troubles performing certain parts of their duties.
- Joseph Timberlane grew up in london, always having a bright and curious mind, and always pushing to discover. Despite his rambunctousness and his excitability, he was one of the best students in his class, graduating with confidence and praise from his peers in the field of medicine. After spending some time as a surgical care practitioner, Joseph moved to Pinewood to have a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of London, and to focus more on studies that would lead to him becoming a licensed surgeon. Shortly after his move into Pinewood, Joseph began to notice the odd activity around him, and eventually through a combination of his medical talent and stubborn curiosity, he ended up becoming a doctor for Site-65.
At the time of writing Joseph has been involved in a few medical scenarios, such as being the surgeon for Eric Godman, being unable to save him, and a surgery to test an experimental prosthetic eye for inspector Sushi.
