What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Consider relocating 012 to CI Base. The relocation would be accompanied by a GM event wherein CI basically heist 012, establishing that they now have it. This would have to be a consideration done following the upcoming CI Base rework - How to handle the existing map geometry in Foundation's LCZ and how to set up a new containment in CI Base for 012 map-wise. This also may allow some optimisation of the map in multiple aspects all things depending, however that is larger in scope than this suggestion.Alternatively, consider making it less of a "permanent" inanimate map fixture, and more something unfixed that can be stolen by CI and held in their base until retrieved via trade or recovery raid, similar to other stealable SCPs - Although even though this would make it more flexible and enable involvement of GOC, this may be a more undesirable option as this adds more map, more stuff in terms of entities, etc.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
There is a currently active suggestion to remove 012 altogether. This is an alternative suggestion that puts forward the idea of instead relocating it.Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- + Basically, CI's very own SCP that it fits them to have? Potentially increasing use of 012
- + Substantially less abuse of 012 by Foundation
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- - Considerable development time, Content & Map-wise, potentially an infeasibly high amount depending on approach
- - If simply relocated (cut out of F base and moved to CI with some texture changes), would basically leave a blank featureless space in LCZ
- - Less SCPs for RSD to interact with
- - GOC:
