What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
I believe I can bring dedication, and I can bring more role play into the GOC, people may see me as a minge, but I have bettered myself a little bit ever since the techie days.
I can also, in my opinion, bring a no-bullshit feedback on anything and everything said or done within the GOC, whether it would be a controversial take or not. (like this goc app thing)
I have also been IN the GOC (Ex-SGT), so I know mostly everything that happens to and or from GOC.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I wish to join the GOC is because of the new experience it offers, and to also push myself into more and more role play, so I can reach a feat I haven't reached before (LT+) and are wanting to reach,
and the GOC is one step further into that.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
Following the events of the Seventh Occult War, the GOC was founded as a safeguard against and further actions by rogue organizations, including, but not limited to Kewpie and Carcinoma.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS [1222]:
The action side of GOC, tasked with observing, investigating and capturing/getting rid of TEs, PHYSICS is made up of 2 sub-teams:
Assessment Team, and
Strike Team.
The Assessment Team investigates and observes parathreats such as KTE or UTE's.
On the other hand, the Strike Team captures and eliminates said TE's.
PSYCHE [777]:
The diplomatic side of GOC, tasked with liaising with the paranormal community and maintaining the peace between humanity, and also upholding the relations with Kewpie and Carcinoma.
As with PHYSICS, PSYCHE also has 2 sub-teams:
The Special Observers part and,
the Ambassadors part.
The Special Observers observe scientific, arch(btw)eological, and other miscellaneous investigations for probable emergent parathreats.
Whilst Ambassadors maintain and uphold diplomatic contracts with such occult powers like Kewpie and Carcinoma, alongside the paranormal community.
PTOLEMY [344]:
The support side of GOC, tasked with supporting toe other sides of GOC (aka. PHYSICS and PSYCHE), alongside maintaining the smooth operation of GOC.
Something something 2 sub-teams:
The Quartermasters and,
The R&D part.
The Quartermasters are tasked with logistics and support, handling everything from distribution of weapons (making sure they are up to par) and armor (like Suits) to coordinating food and supply management.
And R&D are tasked with coordinating research into new technologies by the 108 Council, and directing/funding new research and developments, whether the research/development was/is soon to be in progress.
What are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
To keep the peace, the friendly relations between organizations, to protect humanity against paranormal related things, and also to take any and all action required to ensure the survival of the human race, and to ensure no occult wars/anomalies break out once more.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
The GOC is different in my eyes is because GOC exists to stop anything paranormal, parascientific, and paratemporal from breaking out before it gets way worse, and because the R&D side of GOC are very interested in how to contain/deal with KTE's within Kewpie, to enforce the Five-Fold, and to make sure they handle all of that whilst also directing new research related things.
