What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Allow users to 'shred' a keycard using the document shredders that are placed around the site.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I don't believe so.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
1) General quality of life, as you will no longer need to drop and then shoot keycards that you collect. Also removes the need for people to interrogate keycards off of eachother to get rid of them. (Did anyone say GM benefits? Because I'm saying GM benefits.)
2) Improved immersion, reduced gunfire around the site.
3) Makes keycard holds less effective (Positive for F, and IMO, the playerbase. Keycard holds are boring asfuck.)
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
1) dev time; But I hope this sort of change wouldn't be too intensive to make, as it is effectively just a 'remove X swep when you press E on the entity' change. IDK, I don't do dev work 0_0
2) Makes keycard holds less effective (Negative for CI, though IMO its an improvement for their playerbase too as I cannot imagine the keycard holds as being 'fun')

Ease of use for everyone, hopefully making one of the most complained-about strategies less viable to employ.
