Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?:
I’m applying for the role of medical consultant because I thoroughly enjoy creating medical roleplay. With this role I believe I could create and partake in more of these scenarios. I wish to help improve the department, and I believe I have a lot of unique ideas with the available time and initiative to follow through.
As a consultant, I hope to apply my ideas and expectations across the entire medical department. I’d like to implement small, realistic improvements such as more regular training rotations, defined procedure templates for common injuries, and encouraging joint training with other divisions like E-11 or ISD. These joint trainings would for example be combat medic integration in combat scenarios, and biohazard procedure training in order to greatly improve cohesion during stressful or intense situations.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
My in-game medical procedure of choice is a bullet wound surgery, due to its high frequency on site.
The patient limps into the Medbay, supported by two members of their squad. I immediately have the patient placed onto a stretcher and begin a rapid assessment. Upon locating the wound site (left thigh), I apply a tourniquet above the injury to prevent excessive blood loss. My next course of action is to transport the patient to the surgical room as quickly as possible.
Once inside the surgical room, I transfer the patient onto the operating bed. I quickly gather a tray of surgical tools and an emergency first aid kit, placing them within arm’s reach. Before proceeding, I assess the patient’s vital signs, checking their pulse, heart rate, and blood pressure. After confirming their vitals, I sterilise an injection site and proceed as follows:
After administering the appropriate medication, I gently cut away the fabric around the bullet wound. Using sterilised tweezers from the surgical tray, I carefully examine the injury. Once I have properly assessed the wound, I proceed to extract the bullet with precision and care.
Following the removal, I set the tweezers aside and prepare a suture needle and holder. I close the wound with steady, precise stitches before applying a sterilised bandage over the sutured area. After securing the bandage, I carefully remove the tourniquet to restore circulation.
Finally, I transfer the patient to the recovery room and place a pair of crutches nearby for later use. I recheck their vitals, connect them to a blood transfusion bag, and leave them to recover under observation.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?
Consultants are responsible to help guide medical personnel, teaching and enabling improvement. They assist the directors in managing the department, and making changes. They also conduct medical license training, and combat medic training. They help maintain stability within the department, dealing with insubordination and medical malpractice. With clearance level 4, Consultants are held at a higher regard, they are expected to maintain professionalism and be a role model for new and existing medical members.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- Throughout all my procedures I’ve always put in as much effort as I can especially when it comes to documents and making sure they are as detailed as possible. I always try to excel and improve.
- Before I joined the medical department, I had previous experience with medical roleplay. I have now continued to further my knowledge and understanding of medical procedures, applying that into my roleplay and documentation.
- Within my admittedly short time on the server, I have been incredibly active and engaged with the community. The majority of my time on the site has been working for the medical department, creating fun and engaging medical roleplay.
- I frequently collaborate with the research department, assisting in their tests and helping create more roleplay.
- I have made a point to get to know and collaborate with people in other departments, namely the research department. I have actively assisted researchers with tests, be that through assisting with documents or actively participating and aiding in tests.

Fami was born into ██████, to be precise, ██████. The “place” was incredibly riddled with crime, and the police were corrupt and inept. The town was eating itself apart. Fami’s parents weren’t much help either, her father was a soldier in some “special” unit and her mother was just a hooligan, a ruffian, a gangster! There's not really much else to note really, Fami quickly found empathy for animals early in her life… erm what else.

One time Fami found a bird with a broken wing or something and nursed it back to health. One night Fami overheard some arguing from her parents, although that wasn't anything too unusual. Fami can't really remember what exactly happened but her father did something he shouldn’t have, and well her mother was really p####d off, way more than usual.
Whatever happened Fami started leaving home more often, her parents weren’t really there often anyways so it didn't really change much. If I can remember correctly Fami found that bird she helped, it had created a beautiful little family. It was pretty sweet. Fami though would not shut up about that kinda stuff I honestly didn’t really care… was that too mean?

I almost got sidetracked there again, one verrrrry cold night Fami went back home. Door was budged open, her family was an unusual mess but she knew they wouldn’t just leave the door open. Well Fami went on in y'know, I can’t really remember what happened next it’s kind of a blur. Well Fami didn’t go back home after that she just kept on walking.
Pretty stupid if you ask me, but oh well. Thankfully nothing bad happened to her. She did a lot of travelling y'know, honestly I just think she was tryna get away from whatever happened. Well you can probably guess what happens next, a kid. Alone. Travelling across ██████.
Fami picked up after her mother, she started picking pockets, stealing food, that kinda stuff. Nothing too special there either honestly. One time though, Fami saw someone with a LOTTA cash in their wallet, the kinda stuff that could let her chillax for a bit.
Well Fami went big. She tried taking it. Stupid ### mistake, although you coulda seen that a mile away. Sadly this ###hole, this freak, he immediately jumped at a chance to beat up a kid. Never did something p### me off that much.
Thankfully though, there was this guy, who had a big a## dog. He went on in to help Fami, the dog, not the man. And well Fami was saved. The dog on the other hand not so much, the poor thing was shanked. Well you know Fami, her and animals. She immediately went in and tried helping the poor thing, well whadyaknow. The owner of the dog was none other than a vet! No, not a soldier the doctor kind. This man we’ll call him… steve. I don't know, I cant remember.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY MEMORY?!?!
Mister steve here was the real deal, mister empathy, mister money. Exactly the kinda thing Fami needed right then and there, honestly sounds like plot to me, but whatevs! Well this guy and his wife just went through something horrible. Fami was perfect for them, them was perfect for Fami.
I’ll get to the juicy stuff then honestly you're not missing out on much, just some boring doctor stuff. Fami got to workin in a lovely lil clinic! I mean the pay was terrible and the condition, my my. It honestly was the same state of her birth place. Kinda cyclical, that's cool I never thought of it like that.

Anyways Fami was a great vet, I mean nothing world renowned or anyth- Okay Fami was THE BEST. Well its kinda cliche but, where do you go if your some ruffian gangster and you’ve been stabbed? The answer is the veterinarian who is under your thumb. It really annoyed me, the abuse they put her through y'know but there was nothing I could do, you know how it is.
Here's the juicy part, although you lot probably know it quite well.
This guy, absolute simpleton by the way, I mean the amount of stitches Fami gave this guy… sorry , storms on into the clinic. He's got a bag, but Fami knew right away what was about to happen. She shoved the man aside and placed the bag onto her operating table, I dont know what fami was expecting when she heard it. But it was not a “f####d up dog” as that simpleton said. It was this nasty lil pup...
Fami began trying to treat it, although it was nothing like she had dealt with before. I mean this thing was missing A LOTTA STUFF! The poor red thing was knocked unconscious by those hooligans who crowded the operating room. All of them sneering around her. Honestly though, the first time I saw that thing I also couldn't stop yapping.
All red... you could kinda see through it I think I don't know.
Well this is the part you guys know, you gone on in and lit the place up. Wasn’t even a fair fight 5 or whatever pathetic men with pistols, against all those unmarked vehicles and armoured men. Yeah well there's that. Nothing too special.

Fami was a veterinarian, now a doctor, who specialises in surgery. She is incredibly new to the foundation, and supposedly had very little anomalous encounters before her encounter with the SCP-939 pup.
Later investigation showed that Fami possessed an “Imaginary Friend”, while we are unable to initiate a conversation with this “Friend”, Fami says she is unaware of this anomaly. Fami is often seen talking to a wall or herself, Fami claims that it is just her thinking aloud.
Further tests showed that this phenomenon only occurred, due to a faulty radio that was constantly switching through radio frequencies creating a white noise.
Notes:
There is lots of speculation on the team, regarding the “Imaginary Friend”, however I hereby close this investigation, it’s a waste of time and funds. We have bigger fish to fry.
