List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
A good document must have clear reasoning. a clear hypothesis, clean and clearly documented testing, and then clear descriptions of what was learned because of this testing.
A good test must also not needlessly waste life; we can't be testing how many dclass can 682 eat before his stomach ruptures. D-class is a finite resource that can't be wasted on needless, cruel experiments at the foundation. We are cold, not evil.
On top of being a waste of a finite resource, it's a violation of the code of ethics to which we must all abide as researchers.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- As an executive researcher, you are responsible for the training of junior researchers, so they know the culture, rules, and work environment of the research department here at Site 65. Your job is to help the researchers and Sr researchers with testing that might be outside of their security clearance. such as testing on SCP, such as a level 2 researcher wishing to test on SCP-049. They would require an executive researcher to sign off on the test and supervise during the testing.
Executive researchers are also often heads of projects or even heading up entire departments, such as the chemical research department.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Leo Macarther was born in LA. He grew up in the city and had always had a fascination with understanding the way the world works. As a young man, he entered UCLA hoping to get a degree in microbiology, minoring in epidemiology and anthropology. Getting a job in a lab where he could study things under a microscope was never his passion; instead, he signed up with the CDC, where he traveled the world researching the most deadly viruses and the largest threats known to him at the time. Leo would devour any knowledge world, which eventually led him down a path into the occult; he became a master in an obscure occult science, much to the mockery of his allies in the scientific community.
Soon, Leo was approached by a strange group of people who invited him to do something for humanity instead of being mocked by his fellow members of the scientific community. He accepted and was brought into the SCP Foundation, where his skills and talents became very useful when it came time to understand the nightmares that the foundation kept safely locked up.
His life in the foundation was one excitement after another, rapidly rising through the ranks to senior researcher before joining the CRB. Leo was good at his job, running tests on SCPs such as SCP-087, SCP-966, and SCP-999. Trying to find new and interesting ways to test on these Scps. His mind expanded outwards, and now he seeks to understand subjects such as 096 regeneration, potential ways to apply new medical techniques to the foundation, new armor, and weaponry ideas, and research into the origin of human consciousness. But as he did his research with his trusted mentor [Redacted ], tragedy struck when he, [Redacted], and [Redacted] were kidnapped by the serpent's hand, unfortunately, he was the sole survivor of the serpents hand ruthless attack and kidnapping, although he still misses his mentor, and hopes to continue her research where she left off, on a mission to ensure her death wasn't in vane. And now, with hundreds of ideas sprouting and his promise to finish [Redacted]'s research, he places his hand in the ring of the executive researchers.
(Update following everything that's happened since this first application, Jun 8th 2024)
Leo spent a long time as an executive researcher struggling to keep the code of ethics enforced in the world of the research department, so after an extended time, he applied and became an ECA, where he worked hard to keep everyone working within the code of conduct. He wasn't happy, though, so he requested a demotion and left for field research, where he spent 2 years studying SCPs in the field with MTF-[REDACTED], identifying and assisting in the containment of various new anomalies. (I had college and was too busy to play) After his time ended, he returned to site 65 ready to continue his research and resume where he left off.

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- None at the moment, I used to have ECA, Executive researcher, MTF-E11, but I retired from them when I left for school
- None
- I am applying for the Executive Researcher position because I believe I could use my previous experience to improve the testing and roleplay coming out of the Research department. My prior time as an Executive was marked by my watching other researchers come up with ideas. pushing them for more unorthodox experiments and personally going with some for extremely interesting testing. ranging from alternative fuel types for SCP-457 all the way to testing on dimensional theory on SCP-106
- What makes me suitable for this position is my previous experience as an executive researcher and my experience as an ECA. I know what the job entails, I know its responsibilities, and I know how to work with others when it comes to doing high-quality testing without breaching the code of ethics or the code of conduct, yet at the same time, gaining plenty of research information, making the loss of D-class life acceptable.
- My previous excellent documents have likely been wiped away in the annual purges of the records; however, before that purge, I had 6 excellent documents, and one even being reviewed by the ethics committee at the time. However, it has been 2 years since I was last on the server; these records are likely long gone.
- What makes a great document is the following:
A good document must have clear reasoning. a clear hypothesis, clean and clearly documented testing, and then clear descriptions of what was learned because of this testing.
A good test must also not needlessly waste life; we can't be testing how many dclass can 682 eat before his stomach ruptures. D-class is a finite resource that can't be wasted on needless, cruel experiments at the foundation. We are cold, not evil.
