What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

Lower the volume of the train(s) that appear around the map. Mostly the one in HCZ. You can either make it so that the overall noise is lowered or the distance to be able to hear it, as for an example of this would be: You being near the fence to trainstation in HCZ you won't hear it as if you had your head next to the rails. (Lowering the range/distance to hear it loudly)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

I searched most of the suggestion pages and no kind of suggestion like that was ever mentioned.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

+ Once you are in any of the following locations you will get blasted by the sound of the train:

SCP-008 outer part
Near any train
In the trainstation (D-Class and vents)

+ Communicating with others near any of the locations listed above will be much easier as you will be able to hear others.

+ It'll be less disruptive as during mid conversation you have to stop and wait for the train to pass.

+ It causes a huge disruption and isn't ambience by any means. If it could be lowered to a sufficient rate that could work.

+ Would also lower the weird static noise from appearing in the middle of the audio(is quite loud).

+ Lowering this will keep a balance within the ambience and won't have the train be louder than everything else.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

- Literally no negatives as this is just something that puts people on discomfort that makes them not be able to hear anything.

- "Lowers ambience" The ambience of the train could stay but be lowered.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

This suggestion should be accepted because it adresses a quite long standing issue of the excessive volume of the disruptive train noice that could not be classified as ambience. Makes everything involving it or being near it purely annoying. While lowering the volume and not immediately removing it keeps the "ambience" there but improves player experience. It also makes it easier to communicate near the area. Overall I think this is a good suggestion for the overall balance of ambience and gameplay.
