Partially Accepted Lowering the Range of ADB Effects

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would simply lower the range of which people are affected by the UNGOC ADB. The reason for this is because even if the UNGOC are inside their bunker civilians are able to gain that effect from above their base, this also goes for CI; when UNGOC ADBs inside the CI base civilians can easily stand above the base and gain the effects causing for unrealistic prosperity's and situations.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-would add realism the the fact that a civilian would not be able to change skins to a CI/Foundation/UNGOC model while simply walking on the surface.
-Would keep CI or Foundation from gaining an unfair advantage that they are not suppose to gain unless the GOC allows them to.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-I can't think of Any.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This suggestion would add Realism to the fact a civilian wouldn't gain the effects from a beam that's 10 feet underground and incased in sold concrete.

The range of its affects are fine, it works well, but the Y-Axis is infinite i believe? One time there was a ranger standing on top of CI Base, who got ADB affects when UNGOC ADBed something in there

It's both. I ADBd in the back of nonspec and people outside in the hallway got effects.

If this is how Guardian described, maybe a slight range reduction and a line of sight check (map-based, ignoring any entities like players and props, just so it can't go through walls/floors) would be good.
