Why are you applying for Special Agent? I am applying for the role of Special Agent for multiple reasons, one key factor is gaining the ability to train new members of the Department into becoming fully fledged Agents / Operatives - granting them access to the full SOP RP experience, ranging from general C1 responses to meeting with Groups of Interest and building / severing relations when required. I also with to increase the number of cross trainings that occur interdepartmentally therefore enhancing relations and communications which will overall increase our effectiveness at repelling foreign intruders to exposing treason within the Foundation. In addition, this will also give newer agents the experience and chance at honing their skills and be able to apply this to the real circumstances.

What makes you suitable for Special Agent?: I have been a Special Agent prior and have in fact been the Director of External Affairs in the past, therefore I am fully competent and am aware of all the required responsibilities relevant to the role. In addition to this I have vast experience in creating RP scenarios and would qualify myself as a good leader to those in need, whether that be advising those with less experience, or even having to give out blatant orders when very necessary. In addition to this I think one of the most important qualities I posses befitting a Special Agent is resilience, this is vital for SOP as they are usually overrun by CI on surface whether that be them preventing us from leaving base, or even to general wars that have recently occurred, very few things will stop me from fulfilling my responsibilities in collecting information and retrieving it for our own benefit. Also I very much so enjoy interacting with GoIs such as CI and UN due to it being very limited for most roles in the Foundation, DEA (specifically senior clearance personnel) have the ability to RP with pretty much anybody on the server.

How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?: Honestly, since becoming a member of DEA again I have not written a single document. Despite this however, I have written many high quality documents in my time in DEA as a whole, this ranges from general operations to interrogation reports. I do not think documentation is a major part of DEA's RP, and am more favouring the side which believes they should only be required in important scenarios, whether that be the conclusions of talks with Groups of Interest or even interrogations reports as aforementioned. What makes a document good is one which contains a clear format where it discusses the point of the document (usually in the title etc), an explanation as to why it is being made, evidence supporting the document and then a brief conclusion to wrap it up. I, myself, prefer nice and concise writing in comparison to ones containing a lot of unnecessary details.

What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?: Special Agents have several more responsibilities in comparison to the previous rank, Senior Agent, examples being: authorising infiltrations on GoIs to collect information, the training of new department staff, managing and guiding CL3 DEA Agents and keeping them on the right track etc. This essentially means that it take a more managerial role in regards to the CL3 staff, who's main goal is to do the footwork such as infiltrating and kidnapping. Of course Special Agent's still do and may be required to do this too, they should mainly be training the newer operatives up to be able to do this themselves. One of the key duties of a Special Agent is managing relations, whether that be with foreign GoIs such as the UN or CI, ranging to interdepartmental relations with ISD and MTF regiments (most commonly Nu-7).
