What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why: Ethics committee Member. as for why, it is because I've learned a lot in the ECA role in this little amount of time I have been on it, and I think I could do very good work for the foundation and for ethics, I will admit I still have a lot to learn, but I'm a very fast learner.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?: I have a large sense of morals and I'm very good with people, I can sympathize with those I don't agree with, and I bear no hate to those who oppose my views, I try to understand everyone's sides, and try my best always to be a better person each day.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?: make sure people follow de code of ethics, also make sure the departments they are over are being watched closely and being maintained to the highest standard, you are to help with ethical complaints, be it from departments or even D-class, treating all fairly and without any bias.
SCP tests such as things involved with 008, and the final word on many other experiments.
you also are integral to outside communication such as with GOC, trying to keep a firm yet fair hand, making sure both sides come out winning from the interactions.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?): Applications such as Jobs for ECAs, ECA apps, making sure the Ethics department is running smoothly on discord, making sure there is no drama and no problems is boiling up behind the scenes, and things like attending meetings, taking in ooc complains about people, all things of the sort.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in: Ink Joined Ethics because he felt like most departments were lacking in the human aspect, not treating life as a sacred and delicate thing it is, since he could not match up to peoples combat skills he decided to put his time elsewhere, somewhere were he could make a difference with his words and not his weapons.
but gunshots are louder than words, or so it seems... maybe if he had more power behind his words others would listen, he could help his friends more this way... and learn more about the deeper workings of the foundation...
he wants to make things better for everyone, for a foundation without ethics is nothing more than a terrorist organization willing to do anything, and that's not what we do here, our work is to make the world a better and safer place, anomalies are not ready to be shown to the public... it could be too dangerous for it to be exposed.
Countries could try to use it for their benefit, or a terrorist organization use it to start a war, that could cause countless deaths... in some cases extinction-level event so we got to keep the SCPs safe... but we cant loose focus of the most important thing... we are humans working towards the future of humanity... if we loose who we are if we lose our humanity all our work... all our sacrifices were for naught
And ink has another reason for wanting this job... the reason he made this application now and not a few months in the future when he is sure he can take on the job... he does not have time.
There's a friend of his in special who needs a lot of help, with little time for it, so as a desperate measure to help his friend sake, he decided to try to become an ethics member, of course, it was not the only reason... he is afraid he is not ready yet... but to let a friend down, he rather find himself in uncharted territory, face all the difficulties and the responsibilities head on and if he is not ready he will have to learn to be, for time waits for no one, he rather try to grown faster and put more pressure on himself than watch his friend lose himself... he will move mountains for those he cares about.
