What does this suggestion change/add/remove?
This suggestion adds a 3–10 second delay between the moment SCP-096’s face is seen and the moment he is able to kill his target.During this delay, SCP-096 would:
-Enter his screaming/crying state
-Cover his face
-Stay unable to kill his target.
This allows the target a short window to run or hide before 096 begins the chase.
Nothing is removed only a delay is added to improve realism and gameplay balance.
Maybe add where 096 covers his face if this change is accepted?
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?
Not that I had seen.Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-Lore Accuracy: SCP-096 is supposed to scream and cry for a few seconds before sprinting toward his target. Adding this delay makes his behavior closer to official lore.-Improved Gameplay Balance: The delay gives players a fair chance to escape or react making 096 encounters less instant.
-More Intense RP Moments: The screaming phase creates tension and immersion making interactions with SCP-096 more dramatic!
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-Slight Nerf to 096?: It may make 096 slightly less effective at instantly securing kills, especially in close-quarters situations.-Potential for Abuse: Some players may try to use the delay to exploit escape routes or stall 096 unfairly.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?
This suggestion should be accepted because it improves realism, enhances roleplay, and balances gameplay without removing the lethality or threat of 096.Overall it makes SCP-096 encounters more fun, fair, and accurate to its lore!
