What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[It will add a new Whitelisted JR. Cl4 Techie Job.]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[Some apps have made this, but they were just joke suggestions like give techies a Cl4 and AA.]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[It will add more RP to fixing things and have a more serious techie job. It could also possibly add a new technition RP.]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[None.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[It could add a new job that would be free of minges because of it being whitelisted. It would be a better way to fix CL4+ SCPs such as 008 and other SCPs. This could also make Expert Techie a job that would need a test.]

Keep Janitor and Engineer at CL1, up IT Tech to CL2, up Tech Expert to CL3 (call it Senior Engineer - Tech Expert is a shit name, sounds like what they'd call someone working at Curry's), and make a new CL4 Director job.
They should also make Tech Experts have to take a test by the CL4 job or ISD since they overseer site staff

I like this, but maybe instead of just a CL4 techie job, it could be instead a CL4 site staff job. Since jobs like chef, janitor, tech expert and all that can be easily minged on with the only consequence being ISD, a way for a site staff manager to keep them under control could reduce minging and allow for job bans, promotions and other stuff, similar to how GSD, RSD, ISD, etc have CL4 jobs.

"Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[None.]"

Brother I could think of 5 negatives off the top of my head. There is also no need for a CL4 techie. The point of the access level system is to enforce OPSEC within the foundation. What about a techie's job requires them to know and retain information related to 008 and 682? Let alone be on the same level as someone who manages the entire site?

Why incentivize techies or give them any tools to improve the department, just consider the job lost to the minges at this point and do nothing about it, let the same people run around and failrp/nitrp everyday

They don't want anyone to rp on techie infact sl will go out of their way to destroy any kind of in-rp organisation happening resulting in the only reason to play the job being to minge
Cl4 techie would just make it way worse

That's like saying "This house is filled with rats and cockroaches already, so lets just not renovate it" or something along those lines. That's the kind of lazy mindset that kills a server. A CL4 techie job would put a tighter leash on site staff, possibly making it restricted for a test and job ban possibilities. I mean ISD minges are very rare because of this reason, they have the ability to remove someones license to be in ISD which could be the same for Techies.

I assume you just want to keep minging on a job with no consequences attached.

We often call down site admin and sometimes ethics to deal with site staff if it is repeated minging

* Malfunctioning Technology & Maintenance Overhaul *

• Full removal of "broken terminal" system
• Replaced with occasional malfunctioning technology events around the facility
• No more blunt rolling blackouts that cannot be repaired or restored

* Janitor & Maintenance Integration *

• Facility maintenance is now dynamic
Broken pipes, spills, and random maintenance events can occur
• Requires cooperation between ET&S and Janitor roles to repair and maintain facility integrity

* New ET&S Minigame System *

Inspired by L.A. Noire detective gameplay
• Engineers act as problem solvers with enhanced critical thinking
• When random maintenance events occur:
- A warning notification is sent to all ET&S members
- Minigame will use a clipboard interface to find clues and isolate problems
- Requires engineers to solve issues with collected evidence and troubleshooting skill

* New Additions to Advanced Armory for ET&S *

Reinforcement Tool: Strengthens doors against forced entry or breach

Armor Utility Pack:
- Allows technicians to restore ballistic armor to friendly ground units
- Cooldown between uses
- Utility belt grants overshields up to 150 armor cap

Override Tool:
- Temporarily reduces door clearance level requirements by one level
- Requires short minigame to complete
- Intended for emergency access when doors are malfunctioning

I suggested a little bit ago some fun changes to ETS to engage people more, and some simple changes to how they function to expand on responsibilities to not just door fixers but actual applications in the way the server flows.
