What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make it fail rp to have the HCZ blast door closed when they is no reason for it to be closed

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[Response here] makes it actually fair for CI to raid HCZ due to it is always unfair when they have it closed due to CI needing to hack it while being ambushed by 50 MTF from behind and then a massive firing line behind the blast door

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[Response here] They have been multiple cases where CI have raided and attempted to go HCZ and the blast door has been shut with like 9 E11 behind it with a firing line waiting for them where also it doesn't make sense to close a Armoured blast door to stop CI the blast door is there for SCPS not people and they have been alot of cases where E11/CL4 personnel actually keep the blast door closed for the entire day what isn't actually fair/being used for its actual usage the door only needs to be closed when they is a C5/Code black any other time it shouldn't be closed

ill pretty much echoe what other people said here but whatever. With no intention to offend anyone, this seems like hard copium. You do realise that having a closed blast door for no reason is an inconvenience to foundation at times right? people inside HCZ who wouldve found one entrance trying to leave wouldnt be happy if they saw that they had to go all the way to the other entrance because a blast door was shut. literally no one would prefer to have a closed blast door at all times considering how big the map is and, in the case there is, it would be called out almost imediately

On top of that, there IS a reason for the blast door to close. E-11 arent dumb enough to leave an extra entrance to an area of high value. its simply stratergising rather than "closing it for no reason". you know what E-11 truly doesnt expect? CI to actually hack the other blast door. oh the hacking takes too long? skill isue, i suck at CL4 hacks but many people do it without issues. youre CI god damn it you guys are pretty much MEANT to hack. the guy with a hacking upgrade dies? skill issue too, play "protect the president" until you guys make it to the blast door and hack it.

it doesnt hurt to sit down for a minute and think of strats, thats the fun of CI.

There is valid reasoning for it to happen, it may prohibit CI for 2 or 3 minutes to get past the Singular blast door, but it's not like you kidnap 10+ people daily to get keycards from, do keycard raids, stash keycards and get like 3 CL4 keycards, or have NHU stored, or practice hacking every single day for literal hours. But yeah I guess it may be a bit unfair!!!!!!

Generally it stays open most of the time, it only stays closed during a lockdown or if there is a code 5, or some random d-class in disguise closed it. Not to mention that CI close it themselves sometimes. But i do agree it should stay open if there isn´t one of the points above. But making it Fail RP is not a good idea.

once again, skill issue. just gave you two strats to avoid losing. if youre just gonna say "no but they kill us!" then its obvious you havent thought of another way to prevent a loss rather than instanlty blame balancing. you have deployable shields, a literal jugg with an amazing gun and a single hallway to look at unless the door opens. if anyone crosses that area youd be looking at its a deadzone. once you hack the closed door, you go down the elevator. Will your team get mowed down in the elevator? no, because youd be in an area where E-11 wont expect you to be! crazy right? now you have free access to the lower HCZ which is right next to the entrance to HCZ. youd gurantee AT LEAST ONE BREACH and deal enough damage to piss off E-11.

-Wouldn't make sense for it to be FailRP, someone could have forgotten to close it.

To everyone saying that it should be closed just in case there is a breach/raid, that isn't true, as it is only meant to be closed during a breach/raid, rather than leaving it closed just in case. It should be opened once the threat is dealt with.

There could be something to prevent this, like making it automatically close when a code ends and vice versa.

In my opinion and from experience, i believe E-11 Shutting down the BD is justified due to numerous reasons, for example they could be undermanned and are tactically shutting down an extra entrance that would require half of their already stretched thin manpower, thus focusing all available manpower on one entrance without worrying about an extra entry point

Another example is the concern of SCP breaches, if CI Do manage to get into HCZ Rest assured they aim to breach powerful SCPs such as 7722 or 682 and in which case the Site would be reasonably justified to close down the Blastdoors to gather up a defensive line that will either slow down or prevent an SCP's entry into LCZ To cause more chaos.

You can have hacking upgrades, stolen keycards, force people of CL4 to open it for you if you capture them nearby, change directions and so on.
