Denied Make LAV-25s non-donator exclusive

This suggestion has been denied and will not receive development.

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Makes the LAV-25 something that personnel with Armored Vehicle Licenses can spawn in, like every other vehicle(aside from Civilians).

Once the Thau. VIP requirement is removed, a separate system similar to the GOC's where specific ranks need to approve or deny a vehicle spawn could be put in place, which may include SA, or SC, or simply be run by Nu7 LT+.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ Makes sense
+ Server becomes less pay-to-win
+ More frequent use of LAVs, and thus matadors
+ Training and tactical use of LAVs

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Someone might potentially not donate to spawn in LAVs(not that anyone donates for them..)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Because there is no reason to be restricting vehicles as heavily as they are. It makes it one-sided, and pay-to-win, essentially forcing someone in each faction to pay money to spawn in LAVs to counter other faction's LAVs. I see this as an absolute oversight, and generally not fun for any specific side.

Massive + support

Why in the fuck is the only defense against a BTR besides Nitro (cant use) and matador locked behind a pay wall.

+Support LAV's are kinda necessary for surface GOI's and SOP, Although it's not a huge issue as theres usually someone able to take out an LAV I think people would still buy thaum just as much if LAV's were just normal

pay to win has never been a issue with LAV's and last thing we need is a pharmacist coming up to surface and spawning in a LAV. we already have that problem with people who donate like DEA spawning it in
even limiting it to just MTF will be a issue because NU-7 could spawn one in when there is a false raid callout for no reason or some goof ball could spawn one in "for the funny"

The LAV being VIP prevents it being misused and to make it so people who do use it aren't destroyed by some minge who spawned it in.

Things with explosive rounds are VIP for that reason. If they are essential for combat situations then people should utilise more that they have in their armoury or avoid the LAV. (i.e matadors or sticky grenades)

Thats why we have an armored vehicle license, and it's restricted to 2 total vics.

Its called an armored vehicle license, Nu7 already needs approval from CSG+ to spawn humvees in. Literally advocating for Pay-to-win mechanics just because lmfao.

thinking "wow i have to pay for this so its so bad!!" is such a stupid way of thinking about it because only 1 person needs XK and a majority of the active players on the server have XK. spawning in a tank has literally never been a issue and there are plenty of players on to use them.
you're literally thinking about the tanks as if its a fucking roblox idle game where you can spend 400 robux to buy a loot crate
and with a server that regularly hits its player cap its almost impossible to have a situation where tanks cant be spawned

A small part of the server is Thau. VIP+. Another small part of the server is Nu-7 with AVLs. The overlap is extremely thin for obvious reasons, and an even small part of that overlap will actively be in garage waiting for a CI raid.

There is no benefit from keeping the Thau. VIP spawn restriction on the LAVs as-is. It is exclusively a pay-to-win focused hinderance that supports players purchasing donations for in-game advantages over others, with an example case of Foundation vs CI.

If CI roll an LAV up to our gate, we need to wait for someone within Nu-7, who has an AVL, and has donated, to run up to garage and spawn in an LAV. Now each players can shorten this wait by simply buying Thau. VIP themselves. Now describe to me how this is not pay-to-win for CI or Foundation?

Lets assume a different scenario with a different game. Say you were playing CoD and someone ran up to you with a suit of armor that only allowed Armor-Piercing ammo to damage it. This armor would prevent all incoming damage, except AP, and there was only one gun that spawned on the other side of the map with AP in it. This wouldn't be very fair as-is, but lets also say that the only way to get the suit of armor is by purchasing VIP++ in the CoD shop. Then lets assume that anyone purchasing the same VIP++ can immediately spawn with weapons that have AP in them, allowing them to damage the suit of armor if they have already paid for it.

How would you say this is NOT a blanket pay-to-win scenario? Yes, there is ONE free option, but it isn't nearly good enough and completely bars players without money from experiencing a gameplay mechanic positively. There is in no scenario a method to positively enjoy fighting the suit of armor UNLESS you have paid real money to use or fight it. That is literally what the LAVs are currently.
