What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make the KBAR-32 a normal AR and not classified as an energy weapon, and for it to be nerfed.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
From What I've seen no, its different because no one really thing of classification of weapons. The KBAR-32 is from COD Infinite Warfare and if you look at a picture of the weapon, you can see that the magazine shows brass bullets, not any fancy energy mechanism to fire a bolt of electricity, its just a furtistic looking gun. "Full-auto ballistic rifle. Channels a fast fire rate through a lightweight mold for increased hip fire control and mobility."— In-game description. This is what is said in the wiki for infinite warfare as well. https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/KBAR-32 The reference image I used for this is also what is used on the server in Q menu and you can easily see there is has brass bullets there as well.
Then for it being nerfed, it should just be changed to the stats of the ebr, in the wiki for the KBAR it says its a fast firing weapon. The EBR-14 is similar to what the wiki says in terms of rpm, so im suggesting for the damage to be changed to that or a little bit lower than the EBR.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

-It makes sense
-more accurate to what it is in game and the game it was taken from
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-Remove an unique weapon from the energy tab, but then there are weapons like the freedom and volk, then there are cool weapons in the AR section in Q menu
-devolopment time
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It would fit the role of it being a ballistic weapon and would just make more sense for the classification of it to be changed.

Personally I think weapons in game should be more diverse. I think this would make sense as a A1 Specialist weapon as currently A1 has the same as O1 (it's opposite). I feel like giving them this gun would be more fitting to them and a good replacement to the QBZ.

If not A1, than E-11's officer should be using it. My reasoning is I feel E-11 should stick to using more futuristic looking guns like the FHR, Karma, etc. The QBZ while nice isn't exactly... futuristic? It's as futuristic as a Famas (made is 1978, and the Type-95 was made in 95, and Type-97 (or QBZ-97, a Civilian version of the Type-95) was I assume made in 97? Could definitely be wrong I can't seem to find production date.) the weapon it copied, in terms of design. The Kbar would definitely fill the role better imo.

Changing where the weapon is categorized in the spawn menu wont change anything with the actual weapon. And the stats were already altered to be closer with that of similar weapons on the foundation.
