What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
It would allow the weapon laser to be able to be toggled on and off
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not as far as i am aware when it comes to recent suggestions
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Would make the laser more competitive with the flashlight which in turn creates more variety
Would remove the downside of telegraphing your location as easily
Allows gunplay to feel more tactical/realistic
Allows careful thinking to potentially negate the lasers biggest downside
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Would mean people who are careful about toggling it have much less of a downside
Implementation time
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe it would add more depth and interesting gunplay to an attachment that is widely substituted out for the flashlight as it both telegraphs you peeking and won't leave you in the dark when lights go out and would make it a more frequently picked option and increase diversity of weapon mods.
