- According to a staff member I had a ban placed on me around June 2023, I asked for the ban reason and they told me that the ban reason said "Unknown" and the ban time amount was also "Unknown"
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- Research is the fundamental drive for this server to work, and the server would have a hard time creating roleplay for the majority of the players that come and go throughout times. And as I acknowledge this I still find myself loosing interest in Research. I feel like applying for Executive Researcher is going to spark back my interest in Research and drive me to continue to create roleplay as a researcher but with lesser limits. I believe that if I receive this position, I'll be able to continue creating roleplay without the limitations that a Sr. Researcher for example has when attempting to do a test etc. This also comes with me being able to drive others within the Research division to strive and become motivated to continue being motivated through helpful evaluations, being a helping hand within the division and making it easier for Sr. Researchers and below to do tests through signing documents, grading documents etc.
When I look at my current options to grow within the server I see Researcher as my current primary option to grow and gain experience. I see this position as an opportunity to learn what it means to be in a position of power and how to use that power in the correct way. As an Executive Researcher, you are one of the people that lower ranking researchers go to for help, and this is what I want to be.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I have a deep passion for Research as a whole. As stated before I believe that Research is the key reason to the servers activity as it provides activities and roleplay for most of the server. I am suitable for this position because I believe I can uphold the activity, rules and general enjoyment around research and continue to help the server grow. I feel like my activity is also a very important factor to why I am the perfect fit for this position as there has been times where I am on and there is no other Executive Researcher to help the other researcher with signing documents, evaluating documents and giving feedback to researchers, which I feel bad for because I could be the one being on when nobody else is on to do these things.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I currently have one Excellent graded document which was based around the sampling and creation of a chemical drug to halt the creation of an instance of SCP-049-2, and whilst the document ended up as a failure it left me with a lot of questions to look at within SCP-049's behaviour.
I believe the document was graded excellent because of the sheer amount of information I showed that I knew about SCP-049 and SCP-049-2. And whilst I do not believe the experiment was executed perfectly, I believe that if you show that you know what you're doing whilst making an original document and that you can wrap your head around difficulties within an experiment that you are able to create and excellent graded document.
EDIT:
After writing this I have also written what I believe to be the first information Excellent Graded document on 8832 where I attempt to go in-depth on 8832's behavior and if he is fit for further examination, examples like interviews, sampling etc. I believe it was graded excellent as it was the first information documentation of SCP-8832 who is widely unknown as of it's new addition to Site 65.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- An Executive Researchers main responsibilities is to uphold enjoyability and roleplay within Researcher, other aspects of the job comes with, grading documents, giving feedback to other researchers, making sure that people have stuff to do so they don't get demotivated and giving people examples of what they can do with inspiration. Another important responsibility of an Executive Researcher is to always be professional as you are who other look up to and if you aren't upholding upmost professionalism then it latches onto those who look at you.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
"Mars" started as a Materials Research Scientist for the Central Intelligence Agency during the Cold War from 1981 to the eventual end in 1991. Here he worked to find solutions in support of the CIA's mission to collect foreign intelligence. After the end of the Cold War he was recruited by the foundation as a Junior Researcher three years later (1994) at Site 19 around the Michigan area, his first day was the day where SCP-096's painting had successfully been created as a test to see if SCP-096 would react to instances of looking at his face in a materialized way as a painting. "Mars" caught a glimpse of the painting once and never forgot the horrifying face of SCP-096. This is what made "Mars" know exactly what he had put himself into and what a terrible job he must do.
