Consultant main responsibility is overseeing medbay under the direction of the DoMs. They help keep things running by directing combat medics and doctors into the RP situations where they are required. Consultant train new medical personnel, they are responsible for medical licensing, combat medic whitelisting and training to other medical combatives such as Nu7. They can also provide guidance to doctors and medics by clarifying procedures and providing advice to other staff. They also help update and improve documents, such as coming up with new procedures and ensuring current procedures/evaluations are up to date. Consultants also have a specialism they’re a part of, if I was to become consultant I’d like to become a consultant psychiatrist and help reform how we handle mental health and psych evals.
