Why are you applying for Medical Consultant
I am applying for Medical Consultant because I want to take my experience as a Combat Medic and use it to support the medical department at a higher level. I enjoy medical roleplay and helping create realistic situations for other players. I want to help improve the quality of medical responses, support newer medical personnel, and make sure procedures are followed correctly during emergencies.
This position interests me because it allows me to take more responsibility, assist the medical team, and contribute to better teamwork and roleplay across the server.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant
I believe I am suitable for Medical Consultant because I already have experience as a Combat Medic and understand the importance of staying calm, communicating clearly, and making quick decisions during stressful situations.
I am able to assess situations, provide medical assistance, and work alongside other members of the medical team. I am also willing to help train newer members, answer questions, and improve my own knowledge of medical procedures. I understand that Medical Consultant is not only about treating patients, but also about supporting the department and maintaining good standards.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice
One procedure I would perform is treating a patient with a gunshot wound.
First, I would make sure the area is safe and check the patient’s condition by checking consciousness, breathing, and pulse. I would then identify where the injury is and determine how serious it is. If there is bleeding, I would control it using pressure or bandages.
After stabilizing the patient, I would clean and treat the wound, apply proper medical supplies, and monitor their condition. If the injury is too severe, I would transport or recommend further treatment depending on the situation. The main goal is to stabilize the patient and prevent their condition from getting worse.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant
A Medical Consultant is responsible for supporting the medical department by helping with patient care, guiding medical staff, and making sure procedures are followed properly.Their responsibilities include responding to medical situations, assisting Combat Medics and other medical personnel, helping newer members understand procedures, and maintaining realistic medical roleplay.They should also be able to handle larger incidents, organize medical responses, and make sure communication between medical staff is clear. A Medical Consultant should set a good example by being professional, active, and knowledgeable.
