What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Want to say first and foremost, this would only really be after Backwater 2.0 has been completed.
This would reintroduce something done at server launch, that being a switch between the main maps every 6 weeks.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
The main positive would be that the server will continue to feel more dynamic, especially to newer players. People who get tired or bored of a particular map won't have long to wait until the next one comes around.
It'd also help in player retention, if you're on the same map for more than 10 weeks then people will get bored and will likely move on. This has happened on Afghan a couple of times, which has always damaged playercounts
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
If you're wanting to add changes to each map per rotation (which I don't think is necessary) then you're going to have the mapping crew quite overworked. Other than that, we'd need the GM/Event team on the ball with lore/events to stitch between the three maps fairly often.
People may also get upset that their favourite map isn't on for as long as they'd like.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Honestly this worked really well at server launch, it gave a breath of fresh air each time we changed. Making them consistent gives MRP a much more robust feel to it.
I'd also like to stress, whilst I would like to see this put in now with changes between Highlands/Afghan, the intention is for it to be introduced when there are three fully developed maps.
Also, last suggestion for 2022 I promise god bless
