What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion will add new objects that will break and need to be fixed using the repair/ technician tools and will also give the repair tool and technician tool the ability, when held, to see broken things through walls (similar to how janitors see dirt and spills when holding a mop) including power boxes and the new objects .

I could not find any suggestions similar to this. The development tracker has a suggestion to see what power boxes are down.

By adding more repairable systems, gameplay becomes more varied and dynamic, while also opening up opportunities for more roleplay. The ability to see broken objects through walls also helps new players learn their role more quickly and stay involved. Although there are some risks, such as being overwhelmed if too many systems fail at once or the possibility of RP being temporarily disrupted, I believe this would be a good addition to the server.

New Systems that can break:
- Printer – Break effect: Stop working or starts printing random documents
- Lights (single rooms, not a whole zone) – Break effect: room goes dark
- Phones (Single phone or addition of new power box) – Break effect: phone is unusable or calls a random line (chef tries to call Dblock but instead it calls medbay)
- Turret (single turret, not whole system) – Break effect: turret sometimes fires when hostile SCP is near or just stops working or randomly shoots (not at a target just random)
- Tesla Gate (single tesla, not whole system) – Break effect: tesla stops working or fires off randomly
- Keycard Reader (single reader, not whole system) – Break effect: sometimes won’t work
- Projector – Break effect: projector doesn't work or changes slide by itself
- Dispenser (single dispenser, not whole system) – Break effect: doesn't work or drops random items
- X-ray – Break effect: xray does not show all broken limbs or just doesnt work
- ECT – Break effect: doesn't work or takes a longer time

- Gives maintenance/technician roles steady work.
- Adds variety to gameplay with different objects to repair.
- Possibility to increase RP
- Makes it easier for new players to level up faster and find broken objects faster
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Could be overwhelming if too many things break at once without enough technicians online.
- Risk of frustration if critical systems (like Tesla Gates) fail during a breach
- Development time
- Could disrupt RP or postpone RP til after it is fixed
