What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Changes the current "cyanide" system to be bind-able to a key.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
N/A / Not to my knowledge.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Going off of SL's RP reason for how cyanide works, It's a fake tooth, meaning it makes little to no sense to have to drop it and eat it. Having cyanide work off of the current food system is slightly buggy, as you're unable to consume it when full. Having cyanide drop by your feet allows people to steal it from (although this is FailRP), even if you drop it by accident. This would enhance RP, making hostages more difficult to capture and more rewarding for CI / D-Class.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Accidentally pressing it during RP? Although this wouldn't be much different from currently just dropping it by accident.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Easier system, allows for SL to customize it to their desires and content team to have more creativity and fun with how it is made.

A team of comprised of 3 highly skilled Chaos Insurgent Deltas spearheaded the assault of Site-|||||| and have reached the core of the facility.


CI-D “Bones” : Gamma, Quirky, let’s go, Ethics Wing is here, we grab him and go.

CI-D “Bones” smashes down the barricaded doors to the Ethics Wing Lobby and “Gamma” and “Quirky” charge in past the doors.

Omega-1 SPC “Maxwell” : Damn Greenies made it here.

Gunshots can be heard on “Bones” body cam, he enters the lobby to see 3 dead Omega-1 Operatives and “Quirky”’s corpse on the ground.

CI-D “Bones” : F//////, good work “Gamma.” Did you find Ethics Member Hank “Shank” Human?

CI-D “Gamma” : No boss, still looking for him.

The two insurgents slide a bookcase in front of the Ethic Wing Lobby doors and begin to breach further into Ethics Wing.

CI-D “Bones” : Alright, this is the meeting room, last stop, probably holed up in here, stand back “Gamma.”

Bones and Gamma both step behind cover and the doors to Ethics Wing Meeting Room explode. 2 Omega-1 Operatives charge out of the smoke and engage the remaining insurgents.

1 of the Omega-1 Operatives lags out of the server, and the remaining Omega-1 Operative, Omega-1 CSG “Fish”, is left alone to fight Bones and Gamma. He dives behind a chair to avoid suppressing fire from Gamma’s PKM firing towards the meeting room.

Omega-1 CSG “Fish” : B//////, blind firing is banned in CQC.

Fish pulls a grenade off his belt and bites down on the pins and yanks his head back like he just entered an anime and tosses it behind Gamma’s cover.

An explosion can be heard and Gammas body is seen falling over from behind the cover he was in, dead.

Fish is distracted by shooting the corpse to notice that Bones had left cover and had trained his PKM on Fish’s head. 3 loud bangs can be heard, and Fish’s headless corpse falls to the floor.

CI-D “Bones” : Damn, he better be in here.

Bones enters the room and looks around. Sure enough, Ethics Member Hank was sitting in a chair, menacingly.

.2 seconds later, Bones sees /cyanide in chat and the ECM dies there, after all this hard work to get to him. Bones opts to take the easy way out rather then be captured by members of the Gensec Security Cadet regiment.

If it worked like this kidnapping people would be legit impossible my man. If all someone had to do was type /cyanide there would be 0 time to actually cuff them before they were dead. Plus it makes people think about suiciding since cyanide costs money.​

see where it's coming from, see the criticism. idea needs work, imo - food system kinda doesn't gel for this and the instantaneousness of a bind makes it unfair. a delay might make sense, but this ultimately needs to be rethought a little bit to address immediate issues
