Description:
Internal Crisis Intervention Team are the heavy hitters within the Department they carry more lethal weapons then the standard ISD operative and are the reinforcement of ISD that participate in Special Operations.. The Internal Security Department (ISD) maintains the integrity of the Foundation. They perform internal investigations (either covert or public) in order to uncover corruption, breach of protocol and other violations. They may perform investigations on behalf of the Overseer Council and the Ethics Committee.

Models
Work in progress

Positives:
Provides additional goals for current Inspectors
The Internal Crisis Intervention Team would give existing Inspectors another position to work toward after reaching Inspector. This creates a clear progression path within ISD and gives experienced members something new to strive for rather than having their progression stop at Inspector.

Encourages Investigator activity and progression
Having the Internal Crisis Intervention Team as a specialized position could encourage Investigators to become more active and involved within ISD. Investigators would have a tangible long-term goal of eventually becoming an Inspector and potentially qualifying for the Crisis Intervention Team.

Creates more opportunities for specialized operations
The new job could be specifically involved in Special Operations, allowing members to participate in operations that require more responsibility, preparation, and coordination than standard ISD duties. This would also give ISD more opportunities to create meaningful RP instead of relying primarily on routine investigations and inspections.

Creates a dedicated response unit for internal crises
The Internal Crisis Intervention Team could serve as ISD's primary response unit for situations such as hostage situations, internal threats, compromised personnel, and other incidents occurring within Foundation facilities. This gives ISD a clear purpose during high-risk internal incidents without replacing the responsibilities of traditional A/O or MTF/SOP/SRU units.

Assists with audits and restricted areas
Crisis Intervention Team members could participate in higher-level audits and investigations where access to certain offices or areas has been restricted. When necessary, they could assist with securing or entering restricted areas as part of an authorized ISD operation, giving these audits more weight and purpose.

Encourages greater cooperation with O-1/A-1
A specialized ISD team could encourage Omega-1 and Alpha-1 to involve ISD more frequently in operations concerning internal Foundation matters. Since ISD specializes in internal security, investigations, and Foundation personnel, having a dedicated team capable of supporting these operations could make ISD a more valuable partner during raids, investigations, and other internal security operations.

Creates more opportunities for cross-department cooperation
The team could work alongside O-1, A-1, and other departments during larger operations. This would help members become more familiar with how other departments operate while also giving those departments another specialized resource to work with.

Summary
The Internal Crisis Intervention Team would not simply be an additional job or a combat-focused position. It would be a specialized progression role designed to give experienced ISD members more responsibilities, create additional Special Operations, and provide the Foundation with a dedicated unit capable of responding to internal crises. This would also encourage cooperation between ISD, SRU, O-1, and A-1 while creating more meaningful RP opportunities for ISD members.

why do you need a job for this? why couldnt this be done with the current jobs ISD already has?

if you need new equipment (seems u asked for breach charges) just work with other departments for it
The biggest thing that holds back current ISD roles from doing what this crisis job does. Is that ISD is limited to 50 armor maximum.
Otherwise, most of this could be done internally as a division.
If it was investigator+ It would make more sense IMO, because it gives the IA placer to a possibly non CL4 role.

Still, +Support

if we are in specific missions where its supposed to be us only our standard kits are very underwhelming and we have standard 25 armor ISD want to be able to perform there own tasks without help from other regiments every time
I honestly think if ISD gets a new job it should be a noncombative detective role, the role your describing would be a duty O-1 pretty much preforms
ISD already are like non combatives with the worst weapon loadout and very low armor and our agent jobs and current jobs are pretty much like detectives already

Not sure about the specifics, but a limited slot more heavily armed/armoured role would be appreciated for dealing with things like MTF members, riots, etc.

ISD being max 50 AP doesn't make any sense given half the time they're dealing with people that have 100 AP and better weapons. If that's not going to change for the other roles, there should be at least one role for dealing with these sorts of things.

The name sucks, though, why is it so long. Just call it Enforcer or something.

+Support I like the idea a lot it could give something ppl could work towards considering after inspector theres nothing really to work towards whenever all the spots for commissioner are full

This role honestly just sounds like ISD wanting to be more like GSD which I heavily disagree with. ISD shouldn't be running around with heavily armed units. Their job is to enforce the FLC and protect non-combatives while combat is handled by Security and MTF. If you urgently need heavy back up O-1 can be called up as they are cover-story wise part of ISD

SCP UK already has our own "Intervention Team", a.k.a. "TRU" -> Tactical Response Unit.
They work in a similar way to O1 where they do escorts, assist with audits and high tension situations.
Unless a TRU specific role was to be made, I don't think what you suggested will work, aswell, I believe this also needs SL to approve the role.
