What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
New raid objective/automatic Infiltration objective for all factions.
Objective to hack an object in a secure location in each respective base that steals warfunds from the defending faction and gives them to the attacking faction upon a successful hack.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Yes, however the previous suggestion does not go into detail as much as this one in regards to how it should be implemented.
I will not be providing specific numbers for this suggestion as that would be for the content team to decide on, assumedly using the way it worked in MRP as a reference.
(I did not play MRP so I couldn't suggest a balanced set of numbers.)
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Genuinely fun and engaging objective for Surface ops and GOC/CI to do.
Sounds a lot more fun than run towards the red bubble then instantly retreat to home base (infiltration).
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Raids are more common.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This transfers an already existing feature from the code of MRP into SCP:RP which not only brings more content to the server and adds a larger variety of things to do but also would make for much more cool and interesting fights that players would enjoy.
This for example could be a raid objective for CI if they are hurting on warfunds for whatever reason.
It should be a level 4 hack but require the attacking team to defend the objective whilst the funds "transfer" to the attacking faction, this adds counter-play to the mission if the attacking faction manage to utilise the element of surprise to sneak into the objective as it gives time for the defenders to stop the "transfer". The transfer would be stopped via a lvl 4 hack from the defending team.
