What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
SL fix around and update the outdated as fuck VComputers addon.
I have tried to add in more RP around VComputer docs recently, as I believe they're significantly underused and have thought so in the past.
Nowadays, its almost impossible to do this!
Folders with the wrong regiment name, even when they were changed months ago,
No subfolders in any regiment other than KGB.
Documents don't even get XP rewards for uploading anymore!!!
My proposal is the following changes:
1. Removal of staff authority over documents
It's useful on SCP to have more people to be able to review documents, but its not the same on MRP where documents are few and far between. Staff should not be handling approval of documents, High Command and Regimental Command should be.
2. Updating all VComputer folders
This is in two stages
- Rename them to the actual regiment names (Pretty Simple)
- Add some subfolders
Basic subfolder examples:
CO+ Documents (Locked behind CL15)
Training Documents
Weapon Manuals (Mortars, Tank info etc)
3. MOST IMPORTANT: ADD XP FOR UPLOADING DOCUMENTS
Oh my god I can't stress this enough.
Why was this removed????
The literal main incentive of the VComputers works by : Player wants more to do > Player spends time making documents instead of afk > Player is rewarded with XP.
THAT STOPS WORKING WITHOUT THE XP!!!
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- More use of a frankly really good addon.
- More RP
- A reason to use clipboards/printers/corkboards/anythingvdocumentrelated
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-God forbid, but SL will need to spend more than 10 minutes interacting with VComputers.
