What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Ability for NU-7 Medic to use !medic/add a !medic place in floor 2 or near garage area
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
More fast response for nu-7 units when in break from combat to get back on there feet
Make it so in case there are no doctors on standby IE : low server pop, busy with something else, none online, CM assisting a code 2 in dblock or wherever they are
Make the medic role seem a bit more desiarble, I know they are support in the fields but they have the same requirements as a normal doctor and other stuff but not really using the expertise they gain from a medical license or training making it pretty pointless.
Appeals to people wanting to be a medic in NU-7
The surface is very far away from the med bay
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
could make other doctors feel not needed
people going to the surface instead of med bay
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
i think even with the argument of this making doctors obsolete. You could implement it so that they are only allowed to preform this if no medics on standby or make it in use of surface/certain personal only, and or situations such as NU-7 after combat or people injured on the surface. This would make it way easier to treat people instead of running to med bay leaving 2 people of their POI's for a long time as you have to run down and then back up. i understand how this could make it seem like they are taking over from normal doctors etc. but it would be given to a more professional role and only under certain circumstances saving a lot of time and also effort from running around the place as well as being able to assist certain people being escorted in case of emergency.
