What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add a weekly/bi-weekly rotation of on-site SCPs (Including Inanimate). Some SCPs could stay a staple part of the facility (SCP-173, SCP-049, etc..) while swapping out other SCPs at a regular interval.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Unknown, at most this would be akin to other suggestions for brand new SCPs to be added. I believe this suggestion is different in that it remains open ended on what SCPs could be added and requests instead a system of cycling the available SCPs.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This has been a problem since I had started playing back in 2022 and was made even worse after sampling was added. 90% of SCP gameplay consisted of just sitting AFK in your cell until your breach happens, the remaining 10% (Or worse for some unpopular SCPs) is spent performing tests which are about a 50/50 between sampling or a test that has been performed 100 times before. Once in a blue moon a new test will appear and be fun for all players involved but this happens too little. This is simply a consequence of having the same SCPs always be around, I believe implementing a system like this will increase the RP potential for all parties involved.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Encourages originality of research. Having an SCP be onsite for the week will increase its odds of being tested on as it is unknown if it will be there again the next rotation. Testing will be more urgent as players are now effectively on a time limit to test that SCP.
- Adds variety to breaches. Different SCPs being on site allows for different breach combinations adding to the SCP vs Human combat rather it being the same SCPs each time.
- Overall server freshness. Keeps things even slightly interesting for all players. Knowing what SCPs are on site, not knowing, etc..
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- More SCPs would need to be added in order to keep the pool of SCPs from being too small and allowing more than 1-2 SCPs be swapped out each rotation.
- SCPs locked behind any kind of paywall could be affected and effectively bar a person's access to them for a week or more depending on the rotation.
