What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add a pager iteans or chat function like radio and bodycam that may replace the poke function in ts for ic poke. You will be able to block some people and groups from paging you to stop abuse. The pager can send for specific persons or groups

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

It will replace the ts poke function which is important and will be more ic

A 100% in-character direct message could be interesting, and a pager is a nice term and way to do this. It is kinda painful that the only way to do it right now is just a comms message of "<Me - You>"...

This exists already as a personnel tablet function.
If this would be implemented, a few things would be needed.

1. Logs of these messages (currently I am unsure if these have logs).
2. Making those logs viewable through in-character means by appropriate personnel.
3. Ensuring it is clear who the page is from (Currently its OPERATIONAL COMMAND or something).

The first are easy to make
The 3 will likely be fast to make as well.
(using a string table where it sends a message to that group with jobs and name)

For the personal tablet I have not seen the function
