Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I want to be a person in the research team that someone looks up to. I have already made many acquaintances in my days of researching and being able to be that one that someone can come to and get an answer to their question is something I see as valuable to the research team. I also intend to do deeper dives into furthering the knowledge of the SCP foundation by doing tests that no one has done. Being able to cross test certain scp's, the bounds are limitless.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I have been a researcher for a long while now and I have been asked many questions by many junior researcher and lvl 2. researchers and I have been able to give them the assistance they need and answer questions with in depth detail. I know that I can be that guide that early researchers need and I can for certain conduct tests that I would otherwise not be allowed to conduct and bring valuable knowledge to the table that we otherwise do not have.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- 0. What makes a document excellent is firstly, the formatting. You need to have the proper formatting for even a decent paper. You need to have your aims, your methods about conducting the test, and your findings after the test. This is the bare minimum you need for formatting. It is better to have a summary at the end so it is easier and more coherent to read and is better to the eye. Another thing that makes a document excellent is having pictures that are relevant to the testing. Pictures are eye candy and being able to see what would otherwise me esoteric knowledge is definitely something you want in an excellent document. Lastly you should do more than one test. Remember we are doing testing on anomalous objects and anomalous things happen so do more testing to have more conclusive results. Those are the things that make a document excellent.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- To be able to look over documents and be able to accurately grade documents based on whats mentioned above. Also to report any documents that contained otherwise unethical testing to the ethics comittee. Also to be able to present in front of a crowd of people slideshows containing important information that all researchers need to hear.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Perry Pickles, the man who obscenely obsessed with pickles but no one knows about it. He was born in 1983 enjoying rap music as a teenager. All of a sudden one night on his 18th birthday he was taken into a black van and blindfolded. Perry Pickles was then escorted to the SCP foundation site 63 from then he was taken in as a D-Class. Perry Pickles was never convicted of any crime that would put him on deathrow, he must have been framed. Perry Pickles accepted his new life until he was subjected to SCP-513. The effects of SCP-513 were so strong that Perry Pickles required electro shock therapy. He was brought back and he sat in the doctors office for a while thinking about the horrors of the things that he was subjected to. Before he was taken back a man in black appeared. No one else in the room. The man in black offered Perry Pickles to be a researcher, the same one that subjected him to the horrors that he had witnessed earlier. Perry Pickles denied at first but then the man in black mentioned that if he didn't, he would either die or go mad before he is let out. Perry Pickles was left no choice so he took the deal and got escorted and mind wiped of the horrors. From then on Perry Pickles started his research career and spent the next 20 years working and getting the knowledge that a researcher gets. Perry Pickles after all this time, feels like he needs a raise.
