Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
A researcher devises an 049 test which requires the usage of a dog. A dog is delivered to site (acquired by surface forces) and delivered leashed to the researcher for experimentation, where the dog can be cured.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
Chaos Insurgency command order a vending machine on Temu to boost morale among the troops. The vending machine is delivered, placed in the garage and allows users to interact with it to eat chips and soda. After some time/a few uses, the machine explodes, leaving only a note: "To our good friends at the Insurgency. Sincerely, The Council."
Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Two U.I.U agents pull into Pinewood placing flyers around town - “WANTED BY FBI: BELLA HENDERSON - MURDER - $50,000 BOUNTY.” The agents knock on the doors of Pinewood and the U.N embassy (unaware that they are the UNGOC) hoping they can identify the individual. After some time passes, Bella appears in town in a panicked frenzy and knocks on the U.N’s door in hope of seeking asylum - her explanation being that she’s simply homeless and needs food and shelter. It’s soon revealed (during interrogation or handing over, whichever happens) that Bella is no ordinary woman - she Is a fledging reality bender on the run from anomalous groups of interest.
Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
Outpost Fenrir receives an order directly from the big man up top. Having discovered the nature of The Foundation’s “Helping Hands” (formally designated SCP-22415), the cell should capture and saw off the hand of an instance in an attempt to wield it’s powers. After acquiring the hand and doing some research, the R&D department realizes that, when holding the hand, they are able to send allies into the helpers dimension at will, just as the SCP-22415 instances can. This will be limited to in-base research and a select number of raids before either the bearer of the hand dies, Foundation/GOC steal it or the hand loses it’s power (too much time passed) (for balance purposes!)
Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
After much trial and error, it seems as though SCP-049 has finally made “the cure.” Upon testing, it appears that his “cure” no longer turns its subject into an undead corpse, but rather fills them with euphoria and fulfillment, among other positive benefits like enhanced speed and curing illnesses. Thanks to his revelation and potential benefit to the site, SCP-049 is allowed to roam free to distribute his cure to all of the employees of the Foundation, which the people line up en masse for. (If not the case, more testing is done in his chamber. Or not.)
In time, it’s revealed that the “cure” has some unforeseen side-effects. The cured individuals begin to lose their benefits and become disgruntled, demanding more of the anomaly’s special potion to feel better. Before long, the cured individuals mutate into weak but agile bloodthirsty monsters (similar to the result of his previous cure) that terrorize the site in search for a fix. SCP-049 is recontained and concludes that he had the correct cure all along, and that the recent cure had accidentally been mixed with LSD and fentanyl.
Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
A Coca-Cola branded truck arrives in town with the intention of spreading its product to all the good people of the world. Posters, vending machines, billboards, shipments of soda, you name it, all delivered to the various factions. Upon consumption of these beverages, however, people begin to feel… unwell.
After time has passed and individuals report headaches, vomiting and hallucinations, a Coca-Cola branded ambulance arrives in town and props up a tent offering vaccinations for a supposed virus that was in the batch of sodas the town received. The townspeople and surrounding military forces, although hesitant, get in line for treatment. All seems well until the vaccinated individuals suddenly feel an intense urge to consume mass quantities of Coca-Cola branded products. This wears off after time or until the vaccinated are treated with addiction-curing medicine.
Questioning the nature of the Coca-Cola vaccination, Pinewood residents and the surrounding groups of interest find it necessary to join forces and investigate the nearby Coca-Cola plant, where they discover the ugly truth and must battle the powerful corporate overlords of the company for the cure.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.
I’ll just list some of what I find most unenjoyable, although they are probably mostly generic answers -
- One sided or linear events where it’s clear the GM did not anticipate or plan for multiple outcomes or different groups participating (in other words, poor improvisation skills)
--> An example of this being a GM playing a high-ranking foundation member being kidnapped by the Insurgency and not knowing what to do, resulting in either poor interrogation RP or an OOC demand to be let go… no good!
- Murder slop events that contain no real RP or character building moments but rather just involve shooting people or shooting an unkillable monster. Or both.
- Unintelligible events where no one has any idea what is going on because the GM lacks storytelling skills or failed to offer proper context or buildup
And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
I’ve been playing this server for way longer than I anticipated, and like many people had no real plans at first other than to RDM an annoying kid on the spawn role and alt-f4 my ass out of there. Unfortunately for me, I was quickly entranced by the hilarious community and custom features of the server (and also always loved the SCP universe) resulting in my addiction to civil for the following 4 years. Having experienced most corners of the server with over 2,000 hours put in (holy embarrassing) and having seen the recent state of the server, I feel inclined to offer my hand at enhancing the experience for some of the newer players to help them feel what I felt all those years ago. My extended experience with both the community and the daily activities of the server’s departments makes me feel as though I can handle the role of becoming a decent “RP-CREATOR™” and my long-lasting love of the server and community pushes my desire to help others have a good time!

The U.I.U agents, two event characters dressed as FBI agents, will pull into town placing documents around Pinewood and at the surrounding GOI bases containing the pertinent information. When the agents aren’t near Pinewood, Bella appears as a generic civilian woman (with some distinguishable characteristics, perhaps a backpack and with a hood up, etc.) requesting shelter and the whereabouts of federal agents. Her arrival can be either before or after the U.I.U arrives. She will have the TG swep and ~250 health, although will not be directly combative with anyone other than the agents.

An announcement is sent to CI by a high-up Insurgency strategist (or The Engineer) requesting that they capture a 22415 instance, suggesting that the source of it’s powers likely lies in the head or the hand. Upon capture, a hand prop will be spawned in CI’s HCZ that, upon interaction, gives the corresponding helper’s swep to the user. This would be carefully moderated to prevent more than 1 person from taking the swep (since realistically only one person could hold the hand…) and the prop will be deleted if the user dies on a raid. For the sake of adhering to the moderation of this easily abusable device, it will only be available when a GM is active.

A researcher leads an experiment on 049 following an interview which implies a potential revelation in his cure. The 049 will administer an injection and inflict the victim (a Class-D) with a speed boost, colored vision and a message saying that they feel incredible. Elated with the discovery, the researcher is quick to request SA/E-11 to passive breach 049 so he can spread his new cure around town. The effect will have a ~10 or 15 minute delay (if possible) before it triggers a new prompt, telling the user that the effect has worn off and that they deeply desire more. After another few minutes, the victims will turn into 049-2 instances with ~100 health.

First day of event would comprise of the spread of the product throughout the groups - vending machines containing soda that makes you dizzy for a few minutes and wears off. Depending on participation, the vaccinations would occur on the same day or the following day(s), where interaction with a bandaid in the tent gives the user a delayed addiction. On the final day, the mayor (who is disgruntled as a result of Coca Cola not paying him) hosts a public panel which invites both the Pinewood populous and the surrounding military groups to investigate the nearby plant. TPs are created on the main road Pinewood exit which brings you to the front entrance of a freshly abandoned Coca Cola plant. Interacting with the door teleports you to the inside, which reveals an abandoned soda factory with vats of products, production lines and dead bodies. In the back, a large CEO room houses the Coca Cola Council, a group of suited men with ill intentions to those who know their secret. Following their defeat or retreat, a room with the secret (and highly incriminating) recipes of the brand and the contents of the vaccine is accessible. If they choose to do so, the townspeople or military groups post the revelation on social media and Coca Cola goes bankrupt. Holy yap
