Content Suggestion Player Movement Overhaul (Stamina)

Content Suggestions will be reviewed by Content Team weekly, please allow time as not everything can be reviewed at once.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

Add in a stamina bar for sprinting and jumping

Listen, just hear me out ok.
One problem that I think contributes to a lack of serious RP is trying to get places as quick as possible with no focus on the in-between. A stamina bar solves this issue.
Not only does it psychologically get people to walk for not wanting to explode their stamina bar, but also allows for conversations with others between destinations instead of running past trying to get to whatever it is you're doing.
And if you need to get somewhere with urgency, you still can. It just reinforces more realism than "everyone is a marathon level sprinter"
This solves issues of endless SCP chases trying to catch up to whoever is running from an SCP. It also solves issues of bunnyhoppers and combat jumping, because they would be limited by stamina rather than the ruleset, leading to overall less ruleplay.
While I foresee a negative reaction from the community, I think it would be overall beneficial to creating a more serious RP atmosphere.

Rework player movement to be more realistic

What do I mean by this?
I mean reworking the movement to be more forward perspective oriented. The ability to instantly change direction on a whim is not only unrealistic, but actually makes combat less skill based and more movement oriented. I shouldn't be able to sprint in every direction instantly and simultaneously.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I was not able to find such a suggestion.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Less Ruleplay
- More immersive and realistic

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Would likely significantly change the combative dynamic of the server
- Probably unpopular because people like their instant and infinite movement.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Overall, it would benefit the roleplay of the server to have movement that is immersive and realistic.
People would be forced to develop their characters, and actually act like real people instead of running everywhere.

A specific pick in the cherry field but yes, that does exist, and it does not correlate to anything about this conversation.
SCP:CB has nothing to do with this conversation yet it was brought up? CB is a survival horror game. This is a roleplay server. Dictating the way people play the game because you want it to be similar to another game is just as goofy as the "muh realism" point. The reason unlimited stamina exists is because of the exact reason you mentioned in your post... The facility is f*cking huge. E-11 already has to spend 5-10 minutes sprinting through the entirety of HCZ to check things after a breach. You want that to take even longer by making them walk 90% of the time?

I agree on the jumping point. Watching people hop around like rabbits constantly is obnoxious and if anything THAT should take stamina. Adding sprint stamina is just a recipe for disaster that nobody will like once put into practice.

SCP:CB? You mean the game that allows you to upgrade a gas mask 5 minutes into it that gives you unlimited stamina?

Great idea but i feel like it just wont work like how you intended this could cause serious problems for raiding GOI. But at the same time its realistic so im going to leave it +/- . This would also induce a lot of balancing needed to pull off like nerfing 076 speed so he aint a god tier scp (not like he already is or anything XD).

"to drain player movement and allow the exploration of the map to be longer VIA stamina"
The reason why SCP CB and practically any horror game related to SCP has stamina is because the map is huge, slower movement means through exploration and discovery of certain aspects. Driving around the facility isn't really fun for any kind of immersion.

And yes, I want to make NTF's walk a little longer, the facility spans miles upon miles, the update will not immediately go live if it were to be accepted; it would only be a vote to begin with and there would probably be hours of alpha testing before this update is placed into effects, accounting the fact this will also be tweaked several times even after to ensure it is right for every player group.
