What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is to allow ISD, Site Administration, Site command (O5 / Ethics) to see inner foundation "private comms" I.E ["person" - "department"] ["Group of people"]. This does not allow any group of foundation to be able to see outer foundation private comms such as ["me - CI"] ect ect.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Doubt it
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- This allows "the police" of the foundation to do their roles duties efficiently
- This allows site Leadership to be able to monitor the site more thoroughly which is part of the jobs purview
- Would lesser the amount of metabaiting people use private comms to accomplish
- Could encourage people meeting up to discuss private / illegal matters privately allowing unpredictable RP to happen more
- Could encourage people to use the phones scattered everywhere around the site
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Would allow ISD to "unfairly" punish lacklustre players that only play to annoy others easier
- Removes a bit of "privacy" that people could rely on in the private comms
- People would have to think about their interactions instead of doing it the quickest / most convinient way
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
i think this should be a thing as it makes sense for ISD as the police to have "full access" to all comms within their clearance as it is their duties to monitor activities and stop cwimes from happening. id imagine this is an annoying aspect for ISD when people are talking about how their going to kill someone / cause issues within the foundations but cannot react to it as it is [me - them] in clearance 1-3 comms.
I also believe site Leadership being able to view full comms in their facility makes sense cause they are the highest authority with everything that also set everything up lol.
