What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
At this moment, when you're flying drones and die, you get instantly disconnected from the drone on respawn. If your drone is still alive it will sit on the ground or in the water somewhere on the map. This results in people not able to spawn any more drones after they die before the first drone is destroyed.
I'd suggest one of the following options.
- After death, the drone that was paired with the tablet auto destroys dealing NO damage to its surroundings, including ISAF's /IVG bomb drones.
- After death the drone will still be linked to your drone tablet.
- Make drones spawnable whenever you want but with a maximum with 1. If you have a drone active somewhere on the map and buy a new one, the first one will be destroyed.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Yes, Paul 'Rocketeer' Runner has made a similar QoL suggestion including this but Drew, accepted it, didnt say anything about this specific part of his suggestion.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Being able to play with the drones after you died without running around the whole map trying to find it or just straight up losing it underground.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Dev time. Dont really see any other negatives to be fair.

Better QoL regarding drones, less frustrations while using them
