Why are you applying for Security Captain?

I am applying for security Captain as I rarely see more than one captain on at any given time so I would like to step in and do my part to help keep Gensec organised and running as smoothly as possible. Due to recent changes within the Gensec department i feel like now is a good time for me to take the next step in assisting running Gensec with the Chief.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:

I have a large amount of time spent as a Gensec Sergeant both RRT and regular so I am no stranger to leading successful sweeps, dealing with insubordination and ordering Gensec to guard positions ( airlock, watchtower etc)
Due to a large amount of playtime as an Internal Affairs agent I am very familiar with the COE/COC and the punishments that go alongside with it so I shall have no issues with handing out the appropriate punishments should somebody require a ban from Gensec or general jailtime.
I am also no stranger to hostage situations should the extremely unlikely situation present itself.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:

The responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP is to ensure that Gensec is running smoothly in the absence of a Chief of Security, that Gensec are manning the vital guard positions(airlock, watchtower etc) They also inform RRT where they are needed at any given moment (watchtower, checkpoints, assisting with codes etc.) Security Captains are also capable of hosting RRT/Heavy weapons tryouts and handing out punishments to the Gensec who misbehave. They are also one of the few roles that are able to authorise a D block Sweep.

Richard was born into a military family who resided in suburban London. During the height of the middle eastern conflicts, Richard Slicker fought against various extremist groups and encountered many anomalous weapons during his tours.
From a young age, he had been brought up with strict values from his Special Forces father, this has had a knock on effect into his education and career throughout his life. Studying at Oxford University, he pursued a Masters in Global Affairs and Politics. However, no matter the education, it always brought him back to conflict and mercenary work.
Shortly after his final tour in the Middle East, he was approached by a contractor to do work for the Foundation in the Congo to escort researchers in the field. Now at this time, He didn’t know anything about this Foundation, but being invited into such knowledge would change his life forever. After a successful escorting mission in fending off CI operatives to counteract the research mission, he was offered a more permanent position within the Foundation at Site-65.
