Denied Radios

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make it so every job on the server can purchase a radio from the entity section.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
There are more RP opportunities
If two people want to work together, they can buy radios to stay in contact without having to join TeamSpeak.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I can't think of any

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
For some reason, radios randomly come and go from jobs, and it would be better if everybody were able to access radios.

Even if it isn't accepted for every role, adding it to a few more roles would be nice - Janitor, for example, maybe?

EDIT: Ah, I misunderstood this suggestion, I thought it meant the music radios like Chef has. Adding some form of a radio system would be nice, but the old system was apparently very laggy. A new one that's not as laggy and a bit more functional would be nice, though.

The radios were removed for lagging the server, and it is bad enough already so I am going to -support

+support radios are so useful especially as a D-class escapee who wants to coordinate things

in those scenarios i'd always just contact a GM and say smth like:
"I escaped the facility and have met with CI/GOC/whoever, in this case it'd be resonable that if I asked them for a radio that they'd give me one considering they spawn with it etc etc etc... so can you give me a radio using commands?"

That's a bad idea. The chef is the only one who, if necessary, needs a music box to continue working in the kitchen. We do not want to cause any issues with a minor glitch on the door

I believe they're also very difficult to moderate, as I think it was possible with dradios to pull off obscure metagaming or even just like, other stuff like severe tox etc. kind of violations - My understanding is that since there isn't really a voice log of who said what and when? To properly enforce rules on radios would require someone properly reporting any incidences to mods.

I think that may have also been a minor contribution to why radios were recently removed, but the lag caused was definitely the primary factor.

Hello rocky, Just to clarify something when it comes to the communication radios. We did have them on the server at one point in time, but they did generate a lot of lag due to how they worked. So this suggestion will be denied due to such. If you are able to find a addon that doesn't generate lag feel free to remake this suggestion and we can relook into adding them back
