What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Reintroduces the quest NPC/quest system for ETS members that is currently only present on the UK server onto the USA server.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I could find, however there was a bug report I found referencing the quest NPC having some issues on the USA server from last September.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Gives tech experts something to focus on besides aimlessly walking around and looking for broken things.
Gives another avenue for tech experts to gain experience. (Repairing things gives very little.)
Encourages tech experts to engage more with their RP (fixing things) rather than just being a nuisance.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
There may still be some issues with bugs around the NPC.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The ETS quest system has been entirely absent from the USA server for coming up on eight months now and I see no reason why it shouldn't be readded to the server. It would give tech experts more content to engage with and encourage more roleplay on the server from a job that is often seen as mingy. I see no downside to giving players more content to engage with and the system is already fully implemented on the UK server.
