I did not write one of these a few months ago, you are mistaken.

At the end of the week I will be resigning as -1, and I do not intend to return to the server (if I can help it). I have enjoyed a lot of my time here, but by god do I feel justified in wanting to hang up the hat and stop playing. I have met a lot of really great people here, whom I intend to continue speaking to (I'll list a couple of them below), and I have similarly met a lot of really shit people, who will not be getting a mention below lest I am banned.

@Julien White - The GOAT... Rumoured to be the black demon king. Easily the most creative GM on the server, @Jacub I hope you get a hernia for delaying HGM to not give it to this guy.

@Broda - I've come to know you a lot better these past few months, absolutely solid bloke and a very talented RP leader. Certainly the most agreeable counterpart I could've asked for, there will never be a better pairing.

@Sceptre - I know where you got to School, don't forget who made you okay?

Requis (I cannot ping you) - Would not have kept playing the server without you, I cannot lie. Godfather of RP, and a very good superadmin / CS (When you bother to show up). Can't wait for HOTD season 3.

@Naffen - I've been to your place of work, I can get you any time okay? Excellent superadmin, really been holding the server together these last few months. Held back by...

@Neptune - Definitely one of the superadmins. You've shown a great level of RP leader interaction, and you seem to genuinely care about RP on the server, I wish you all the best.

@James Dingle - DM me about subletting your upstairs bedroom, it's getting dire over here. Not a great cook, but an excellent O-1 Commander (We've never been more confident about anything).

@Cade Valentine - Old friend, and a very skilled roleplayer. For a moment I think we had the strongest Council... Ever. Wish you nothing but the best in future endeavours.

@Nukegoboom - The Pennington... An excellent mediating force from the very point I came back to the server. Deserving of the 'pillar of contribution' badge, no doubt.

@Houston Benton - The Chief Gravedigger himself... Super talented GM, thank you for the PACs and for giving me the nickname "The Vulture".

@Tay @Snake (Cannot find Julien's ping) @Noble_ (Cannot find the Portuguese Lieutenant's either) - The elites of the Foundation . Good group of COs, I hope I've been able to leave some form of legacy behind for you all.

What is there to really say, Remmy has provided an unparalleled tier of roleplay quality to the server. He's been great to work with, providing quality insight into different matters, while discussing his plans for the server, enabling players to immerse themselves into a high calibre of different roleplay-scenarios. Through no doubt, I imagine Remmy has exceptional plans for his Overseer, his past experience with CL5 & Senior CL5 only further his potential as a candidate for the role, currently, he's most fitting. He has additionally showcased a wide-array of deep lore-knowledge, while a bonus, it enables for deeper character development, adding potential for storylines where a majority of the servers player base can participate in them.

Reading through the app, your fulfilment of your Original Goals for the Chairman is undoubtedly promising, it showcases a refreshing level of competence. The custom lore itself is solid, your involvement of external overseers adds slightly to the world-building aspect side of things, widening the involvement of 'characters' within the server. You've listed your intentions as an overseer, all listed, seem doable, and humble, they aren't obscene nor are they obfuscate. You've highlighted the roles of the position perfectly, again, showing a superb awareness of the position you're applying for.

I’ve been sitting here for a while trying to find the right words, and honestly, I’m still not sure anything I say will truly capture what I’m feeling. Knowing that you’re leaving the community has hit me harder than I expected. It’s like there’s this sudden silence where your voice used to be — and it’s going to take a long time to get used to that.


You brought something special here — a light, a warmth, a sense of connection that made this place feel like more than just a group of people playing games. You made it feel like family. Your energy, your kindness, your humor, and just your presence — they’ve left a mark on all of us, and especially on me.

We’ve shared so many moments, from the hilarious, chaotic late-night sessions to the quiet chats in between. You probably don’t even realize how much those little things meant — but they did. They really did. You’ve helped make some of my favorite memories, and I’m honestly just grateful I got the chance to know you.

It’s hard letting go, even if it’s just from a game. You were part of what made logging on something I looked forward to. Knowing you won’t be there anymore is something that’s going to take some time to process. But at the same time, I know that life moves us in different directions, and I truly hope wherever you’re going next, it brings you happiness, peace, and everything you deserve.

Still, this isn’t goodbye forever — at least I hope not. You’ll always have a place here, and I’ll always carry the memories of our time together. I’ll miss you more than I can put into words, but I’ll also carry a deep gratitude for every laugh, every win, every loss, and every moment you shared with us.

You brought your whole self into every scene, and it made every interaction feel meaningful.

Some of my favorite memories on this server are tied to you . I still remember those nights when it was just a few of us online, and somehow we’d turn a quiet shift into the most memorable RP of the week . You always had this way of keeping things grounded even when everything was falling apart — like your character could be knee-deep in some absurd situation, but you’d play it with such authenticity that it felt totally real. You gave us so many laughs, a few gut punches, and more than a handful of “did-that-just-happen” moments. It wasn’t just fun, it was genuinely special.

The thing is, you didn’t just help shape the stories — you helped shape the people playing them. You made everyone around you better. You had a way of pulling people in, encouraging creativity, and setting a standard for what great RP looks like. You made space for others to shine, and that’s rare. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say this community is better because you were a part of it — not just as Brightside, but as you. And that’s going to stay with us long after you’ve logged off for the last time.

I’m really going to miss seeing your name pop up in chat, hearing your voice in character, and knowing that if you were around, something memorable was about to happen. But more than that, I’m grateful — grateful for the time, the stories, the friendship. Wherever you’re headed next, I hope it’s good to you. There’s a lot to say, but I’m not sure how to say it. Your impact on the roleplay in this server, as well as fostering those around you to respect that, cannot be understated.

Whilst I’ve only been in the community for a short while compared to some, you’ve been a consistent part of almost every single great memory I have of this server and my time playing it.

It will be a genuine shame to not have you around, but I respect your choices and wish you all the best with whatever it is you decide to sink your teeth into next.

I will always thank you for having the time to chat to me about whatever it was I wanted to ask, and I will always be grateful for you having the trust in me to allow me to take charge of Omega-1 when it was required.

o7 Remmy will be a shame to see you go but i completely understand why, while its a shame all this had to transpire whilst i was away I totally get your reasoning, will be a shame to see easily the strongest SC group we've had dissipate so fast. I remember what you said during marvel rivals game night. Whilst I didn't get to see the full council in the swing of things you've left a legacy to be remembered by that will surely have a long lasting impact on those previous and those to come. Whilst giving you trial moderator was perhaps the worst decision I've ever been a bystander to hopefully this did not kill the server like darkrp.
