What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion proposes the removal of the physical bodycam that we currently have in-game, in favour of the old system of a clip being bodycam footage without a physical bodycam. This suggestion however proposes it for the downsizing of entities in-game.

Instead of a physical bodycam being dropped for footage seizure, the strip menu could include bodycams so it states "stripped of weapons, comms, and bodycam" (which I think there are staff logs of?)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Fewer entities in game = better server performance :steamhappy:
- No more waiting to get a bodycam

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Already previously denied suggestion :steamsad:
- More reliance on bodycam footage for IA

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This suggestion should be accepted as there is currently an aim to purge entities on the server to increase performance. Not much more to say really, just getting my idea in that in my opinion is better than removing grav guns without fixing the dispenser pickup / interact range.

Tbh makes sense if removing entities is an important matter, just add a rule that like 5 minutes of footage before your death is not usable (or if someone /me took bodycam)

That way there is a counter play if you record something you shouldnt see, either taking the cam or just shooting

I'm sorry huh? What do you mean you got shit taken? You still have your permas, it just overrides the base weapon for the job?

If bodycam could record ingame footage without need of clipping software then this suggetion would not exist but here we are.

Why we need bodycams if they still need us to do use clipping software? For "Roleplay"? Pfft, i liked when bodycams didnt exist and it was better for roleplay somehow. Just remove bodycam OR make it finally record ingame footage which can be stored in logs of server or make it like demo-ish videos that gmod makes and puts them into the folder.

While you fixed the problem for LARPs, the no clipping software people still have same problem like me.
