What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Replace the new self-closing doors from SCPs like 076, 7722, etc. to ones that do not automatically close themselves. (For 7722 this includes the wooden door too)

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
  • In interview tests, researchers don't need to spam open the door the entirety of the test.
  • In regular tests researchers can ensure that the door is open in the event a D-Class/any other personnel needs to escape quickly.
  • E-11 can respond to any issues in any tests quickly.
  • E-11 will be able to recontain an SCP quicker if the door is already open for them to drag them in.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
  • If the door is left open after a test or anything else the SCP may be able to escape quicker/another SCP breaching them can enter quicker. (Easy solution is the already followed practice of keeping containment doors closed)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It is a hugely annoying task as a researcher to constantly be opening a door over and over during a test/interview/etc. The doors are also very loud so it makes it difficult to hear the interaction an SCP is having an interview, especially in the case of 076 and 7722. The one negative of this suggestion is already a very uncommon issue as people almost always close containment chamber doors and even when they don't E-11 will in their sweeps. The positives in my opinion just far outweigh the negative here, we really don't want to add extra unnecessary (and unrealistic) chores to research.

Unsure if this is intended even, since CCs (at least 035's) have levers and not buttons to open the blast doors, yet the door closes on it's own without moving the lever? Confusing. Some tests also just need (like you mentioned) a quick get-away route for D-Class, since the SCP'll most likely kill them when given a chance. Yes, it's probably just a quality of life change, but DAMN the quality would go up a whole lot.
