What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove the Requirement to be on the Server 6 Hours per week and replace it with different requirements which can be decided by the leadership teams of the Branches.
While i talked with a few different COs, all of them seem to agree that the 6 Hours a week is something managable, which is why i am doing this as a Suggestion to get it Removed at least Lowerd to 4 Hours.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I tried multiple different Keywords but nothing came out which would suggest that this was suggested before.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- It would allow more People to join MTFs and Progress higher in the Foundation ( together with all the different Positves more Nu-7 and E-11 ect would have )
-Less Stress by needing to Scratch 6 Hours per Week together for GMOD which is a lot if you also have a long Commute
- Server is more Open for people needing to work and dont have much time for Games.
- Less Tasks which need to be done alone, and can be done in Teams instead.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-While there would be more People, some might get less Trainings in and do a bit Worse then others.
- It needs to be replaced by something else so it would Require time from Leadership to

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Fitting 6 Hours of Gmod into a Work week can be quiet a Task, especially if you are Older and Tired after work, removing the Requirement of being on the Server almost everyday or very long over the weekend, would allow for more People in MTF and Leadership Positions
Addional people who are turned off by this Requirement would stay on the Server for a longer ammount of Time, meaning we could Climb up in the Server Rankings and get even more People on this Server.

Yeah i talked to some, and as far as i know 6 Hours is seem as something Reasonable. Which is why i made the Suggestion to get it removed or lowerd.
This wasn't loaded on my page when I typed my initial response. Apologies for that. That's fair enough if you wish to have SL remove it and are suggesting it via that method

I mean, i could talk to a few more. And hope i can change some more minds.
Some regiments or departments don't enforce hour reqs for Cl4s but rather have it based on performance and stuff, that being said you will probably struggle to meet performance standards with 4 hrs a week I'll be honest

I feel the activity requirements should be higher, six hours a week means you can be active for less than an hour each day roughly 50 minutes i would expect people in these roles to be active for around 2 hours each day.

this is honestly such an absurd take, not everyone is on a computer 24/7. It's a game, it shouldnt be treated as a job.
If you can’t find 6 hours out of the 168 in a week, then let’s be honest, you’re probably not as committed to this as you think. Don’t blame the time. Just admit it’s not a priority for you.

Whilst I disagree with this suggestion entirely, this is an abhorrent take to have.

You need to rethink some things if thats your POV.

Real Life -> Video Game

Seriously, this is an awful awful take on a very simple suggestion.

To refocus onto the suggestion at hand:

I removed all activity requirements for ISD Inspector/Commissioner when I was DoISD. Instead, I replaced it with monitoring engagement and roleplay partaken in. ISD SURGED in activity because it didn't feel like a second fucking job.

I think it is time the playerbase as a whole re-evaluate their over-investment into the server. I've seen players come and go due to "stress" and being "overworked" on a fucking roleplay server. This is just purely unacceptable. This is a game. We can roleplay and explore fun stories, not second job management simulator.

Again if you're finding that 6 hours of your time a week is too much, you need to step away from video games and focus on your real life lmao
If you can't find a balance between the both one is more important than another. I work 10-13 hours a day, I find a perfectly reasonable amount of time for everything I enjoy in my life.

If you can't that's a you problem, not a Civil Networks problem.

People also have commute and work or have other hobbies making the time they can play gmod far lower.
I drive on average 2650 miles a month for my work as well.
6 hours a week is 52 minutes per day. That's crazy you guys are complaining about only playing 52 minutes per day isn't enough time for you to enjoy a game. Again, game/life balance, not my problem its a you problem.
