Denied Remove Typhoon-12 from CSPECs

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Typhoon 12 from containment spec loadout

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
This gun was basically only for B-1 & E-11 breacher for a reason. There's no reason why a job that regularly sits in d-block to farm kills should have something thats on-par with AA.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
People will cry about not having a 1hit KO shotgun anymore (that acts like the SPAZ so you can spamclick it)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This should have never been given to containment specs, containment specs never needed this, Containment specs are CL3 and can get their own weapon from the armory as needed. This change was awful and has resulted in typhoon-12's being picked up from dead containment specs and redistributed among gensec.

honestly awful change that has massively reduced the playability of SCPs and D-class, along with CI because you get 2-3 people with Typhoons that deal 2300 DPS.

Literally the 'Frank Mocha' incident but for containment specs.

IDK bro I just saw 2 deepcovers get vaporised by a Nu7 who picked up a Cspecs gun. Its a similar problem with breaches where containment specs will end up dying, and someone WILL grab the Typhoon.
you can literally pick up any weapon from the ground so this aint really a valid arguement tbh.

Sorry these reasons are unvalid in the Lore CSPECs are for the building and first responding wuring Containment breaches. Second They have 3 or 4 slots ONLY. Third they are made for Supporting E11 ind Re-/Containing SCPs. 4th Nothing much to say they are a very little group and on of the hardest level jobs to get, so I THINK this is ABSOLUTLEY fair, because they are there to HELP and ASSIST E11 in Containment breaches, also to give E11 a litle bit of backup if E11 need backup.

Yeah you can pick up literally any weapon from the ground but most of them are either CI weapons or E-11 weapons (Karma45/Typhoon12 before containment specs got it/M249 Para). There's a really common trend on what people will pick up and keep, and what people will give to others when playing. You'll notice literally every E-11 gun is salivated over by D-class (and most other jobs) because they're all incredibly unfair for one reason or another. High DPS, insane ammo capacity, whatever.

the skill issue is unfortunately ethics refusing to reintroduce the old COC/COE statements which prohibit containment specs from sitting in d-class vents and gunning us down instantly (we're tresspassing in a KOS area and theyre a combatative)

you can take attachments off and they go into your inventory, where you can use them like a weapon and re-equip them on another weapon

what are you on about, my brother in christ this thing is like pre-nerf deagle (1 shot kill). With a supressor you get a marginal damage decrease but a massive range boost to the point you can kill people across hallways with it in a single shot. It is ABSOLUTELY a VERY good gun as its literally the KS23 riot sergeants get but just better, 15 round mag, fires faster, and has better scope alignment.

If there is further imballance, just increase the requirements for the job or nerf the shotgun itself.
job requirements are insane for CSPEC and needing LVL15 research is why nobody really plays it. I am TL 110+ and still do not have level 15 in research.
+-neutral instead of removing it stats of the weapon can always be changed (iirc they can change the damage and stuff as they like), it's a cool weapon that just need a little balancing
Unfortunately the fact it is now spread across 3 jobs is a pain in the ass for balancing, since it is now spread between B1, E-11 and Containment Spec, meaning any nerf to it will hit both B1 and E-11 despite them having less slots and legitimately valid reason to have it.
MASSIVE - Support Its not OP they need a gun strong like this to tackle SCP's such as 076 682 and 7722 and no they don't farm d class for kills if armed d class are stupid to shoot at containment specialists they are allowed to act upon it and fire back this is just your usual case of salty d class whining when they don't get their own way and plus they must have given this gun to containment specialist for a reason
This gun sucks against 7722 please do not cope in the forums about their balance.

682 is a joke just use dianabol
076 is moderately threatening but can just be shot to death
7722 is a hellspawn thats noncanonical.

Please name a single thing a CS does that e-11 doesn't.

Two primary reasons:

1. They just got the gun, at least give it a week or two before making this kind of suggestion. The fact that you made this suggestion so soon makes it quite clear that you responded with gut instinct. You did not wait to study and observe how the addition of the weapon affected the state of the server as a whole. Either you personally had some experiences that you didn't enjoy, or you saw one or two of others. That is not enough to justify suggesting a change to the server. Please try to take more time to really consider what you're suggesting before making a suggestion.

2. The gun is no more powerful than any other weapon. It does have high damage but it also has a very long reload and a very small clip size. It was clearly balanced and tweaked before it was given to Spec's. Your complaint regarding the damage output is pointless for this reason.

Some specialist's sit in dblock sure but how is removing the gun gonna stop that theyll just do it without the Typhoon u lit just sound like a salty
d-class who's mad it isnt easy to escape d-block which it shouldn't be

CS having the typhoon-12 is fine, but what is not fine is the excessive force that CS use when joining D-Block during Off hours. CS Should not even touch D-block unless ordered by SA for a Gensec Sweep.

Yeah they're allowed to under the new FLC, and the Typhoon isn't counted as a heavy weapon.
Just to itirate from my standpoint, the reason for Typhoon was for multiple reasons;

1. Gives the Containment Specialist a primary weapon.
2. Creates a need and utilisation point whereby they can fight SCPs who generic MTF struggle with ex. 7722
3. Reduces the overwhelmingly long breach times which have been a major concern for the community in relation to RP.

However I can agree on the fact that Cont specs should NOT go into D-block or assist with Code 1 / Code 2s, though this is more of an IC policy that should be made through Site Administration not the Ethics Committee

Containment Specialists should only assist in a Code 1 whereby the intruders have reached Heavy Containment Zone in my opinion, and instead should be working with E-11 to prevent breaches of SCPs.

Furthermore, shotguns do have a harder time with long range engagements due to the fact they are pellet based, losing a lot of damage if pellets are missed.

But now there are so many of them since a relatively easy to get class has unlimited access to them. The way I saw containment specialists getting primary weapons before was from the secondary armories which they have full access to. In addition to the weapon stats the actual role it plays should be harder to get, most containment specialists just get in the way of E-11 trying to do what their entire regiment is built for. If there was no E-11 on site 24/7 then this would definitely be a good addition but with the accessibility of MTF forces and the ease of getting the un whitelisted "version" of said MTF the only thing this change gives is more cross fire, more powerful weapons being used on D-class, and more mingy containment specs.

By your own logic then it doesn't really affect anything though. As there are only 3 CS slots, 3 CS can't fill the whole server with Ty-12's, and that's only three points of potential crossfire.

Also, its important to have unwhitelisted combat roles that can be fun for a variety of players. So what if 3 people out of the server's max capacity of 120+ have a gun that is, if even (which its not) slightly overpowered?

they do farm them ive got multiple clips of them doing it
