This kind of suggestion is pretty popular and it's been suggested a few times before, but the general idea of increasing the information fidelity of broken things from having to manually find out that it's broken to just being able to find out via the tablet I feel both oversimplifies E&TS gameplay and could also be considered a raid/infil nerf - By which I mean that if techies can just very quickly and very immediately find out if things are broken, they can come to the reasonable assumption that there is an intruder of some variety in the area which the thing was broken.

That doesn't have any really good counter from a CI/GOC perspective, especially if you just flag on techie and just spam check this for the express purpose of trying to determine a raid/infil. Ofc, you can do the same by just sitting on the cameras - But the overall point there is that this could be considered an unintended purpose of this feature that does not reasonably fall within the scope of intended E&TS gameplay(?) and if misused in this way, disrupts raid balance.

I recall a similar suggestion having been accepted in the past, but as I always respond to this type of idea, generally vague information is better than exact information, to both prevent what I said above and also implement this kind of feature in a way that promotes more natural, emergent E&TS roleplay.

Hey @Tyler___J |

Thanks for making a suggestion,

i have decided to Denied Your suggestion.

A similar suggestion was denied recently.

"We do like the idea of it as it can new player friendly. But our concern is that it will make not calling for tech experts useless since they will just get an indicator instead of calling for them. Depending on how much stuff is broken can leave a mess of stuff on their screens."

We still hold our points regarding adding this feature and we believe that Roleplay/communication should happen instead of a screen that tells you everything that is broken.

Best regards,
Holland
