What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Researchers should be able to put signed documents in their inventory.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Imagine finally getting a document signed, only to have your game crash during a test. This means you have to get the document resigned and start the process all over again. You might be wondering why you can't just keep the document in a filing cabinet. Unfortunately, MTF requires physical copies of signed documents and may demand to see them. Later, you may end up forgetting about the document and then crashing.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
D-Class could theoretically abuse this and so can others, but if you limit it to only Research and Ethics and etc.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Accepting this would improve research by a lot, making it less tedious to get things signed. It only makes this tedious when you have to physically go do a test, just getting D-Class before a code 5 or 1 is already difficult. This would make research less stupidly time-consuming to do one thing and would get test's out faster.

D-Class are unable to interact with things from their inventory besides food items. The real concern here would be civs, but FailRP rules do exist.

Large potential for abuse, would be better if there was a way to save signatures on your documents instead so you can print them out pre-signed rather than being able to inventory documents.

I agree actually, having it on the document is way more convenient

This would not fit very well. You rarely need documents stashed away.
CL4s have filing cabinets to use, and even those are largely unused.
For carrying around, you got satchels and briefcases

Unless you fear for your life all the time or plan to minge, this is not needed nor advisable.

Makes them able to hop on a different job and info breach alongside with d-class or atleast what would make this a +Support being able to only take it out on researcher job again and no other job but still to much risk of info breach and more sits on Fail RP
