Discord name: Pyrosity77#6270

For how long have you played on CG SCP: One month since I first joined, 9 days total playtime.

Age: 16

In what country are you located?: England

Time zone: GMT 0

Character name(s): Lucas Saint [DB-SO]

Civilian name: Lukas Saint

What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK

Do you have a mic?: Yes

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: Nu-7 (Cpl currently)

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: One warning for meta gaming and one frp warning.

Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?
I love playing support roles as I believe they are the most valuable in any game, but to see people abandon these roles due to not getting a medical license is disappointing especially as I know some of these people could be amazing in the future. Also despite not having much time to put in roles other than Nu-7 at the moment the support roles are my favourite and I would love the opportunity to rise higher in the ranks and help others with the same interests.

What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
Within my time playing the server I have worked closely with people in the medical department and have had plenty of experience in it myself, I believe the passion and the knowledge I have for the medical department makes me suitable. I have also observed CoM Moon Tzu to see exactly what I would need to do within my role and the exact way to execute my duties. The experience I have gained in the medical field was as an Nu-7 Hammer down medic , a doctor and as a combat medic with my support level being 22 so I would like to say I definitely have decent understanding of the medical department. Also my activity from midday to round 3am ensures that I could provide as much help as possible and alleviate pressure from current CoM's by lightening the work load.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
The most used and useful procedure: Electro shock therapy.
Firstly all personnel must ensure this procedure is carried out in the medbay. The doctor performing EST must first ascertain the reason, if the reason is invalid they must not perform EST (e.g. for low health). If the patient has a valid reason all restraints must be removed (In order to lessen the chance of glitches) and the patient should be instructed to face the wall opposite to the doctor. It is at this point where the doctor must inform them that they will feel a sharp pain in their back and to not walk towards the light (respawn). Then the doctor must use their harpoon to ethically down the patient once the patient is on the floor the doctor must immediately retrieve the harpoon and use their defibrillator to resuscitate the patient. Once the main procedure is over the doctor must perform one last evaluation to ensure all the patients issues have been solved before dismissing them back to their duties.

What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
The chief of medicine must perform training for all support level 10 trainees trying to become doctors, provide advice on procedures to all medical staff and maintain the order and integrity of the medical area by instructing doctors and trainees.

Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Saint grew up in the capital of England, perfectly average by all means but after hearing about a lucrative new job opening in Canada he decided to move and start a new life. Upon arriving at the foundation he started as a security cadet with an ambition to achieve more, slowly making his way through the ranks he made his way to the Nu-7 regiment where he saw the fierce battles fought between the SCP's the Foundation and the Chaos Insurgency. It was at this time he realised the world needed more healers then fighters. Determined he climbed through the ranks in order to become a medic. He patched up teammates, resuscitated enemies and slowly began to notice almost nobody else doing the same. He was determined to heal the broken world which lay beneath his feet and inspire others to do the same. In order to achieve this he started spending time in the medical department during his time off, observing and gaining experience along the way and after spending some time as a combat medic he decided it was the right time to set his sights on the rank of chief of medicine.

- Thank you for reading my application,
Lucas.

.You advertised your application within game, asking people to leave comments

.Within the question 'What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine, you didn't have the greatest answer. It was pretty short.

.I haven't seen you active on Doctor, taking part in activities such as Medical Checkups

Thanks for the feedback. Ill work on it.
Edit: I haven't been on doctor that much apart from late at night for the past few days because Nu-7 has been taking up my time, however I'm willing to change my schedule for this role.

+Support (leaning towards neutral but more on the support side)
I'd like to see you more on the medic roles, even just normal medic (Ik it can get boring but that's how you get closer to the medical department). I have seen you many times around me when I am training and you have never been an issue and honestly you are just a nice/chill guy to be around. One other thing, the time you asked me to comment on your application, to me at least, was less of a advertisement and more of an opinion as you didn't ask me to give you +support, only to comment/give my opinion (which i could have given a -support, which I didn't.

Thanks, regarding the advertising it was my own fault for not having a better understanding of the rules and I will ensure its a mistake I do not make again.

RE: Saint's Chief of Medicine Application

Good Evening Saint,

Thank you for showing your interest in becoming a Chief of Medicine but we have chosen to DENY this application at this time.

This is partly due to your advertisement of your application to receive verdicts, regardless if you asked for opinions or not, this is against the application rules.

Furthermore many of the Chief Medical Staff have not seen you as active, which goes against our plans to revive and bring activity to the department, we would like to see more activity out of you.

You may re-apply within 2 weeks.

Kind Regards,
Dpt. Director's Abbie & Yeke Maot.

Thanks for the response. If not inconvenient could you leave some feedback on my applications structure and content so I can improve it for next time. Also, I will ensure i understand the rules and put more hours into medical roles from now on.
