Samuel originally grew up in ▊▊▊▊▊▊▊▊▊▊, USA, with is mother. They constantly moved around to different homes due to bad living conditions, living in poverty since Samuel was born. He eventually moved to a bad part of a nearby city, where he later joined a gang to help take care of family expenses. It was in this gang where he got the nickname "Angel", for being the kindest, most reasonable member, and oddly enough, a pacifist (Which he still regularly gets poked fun at for).
Although he stuck by his pacifism, he still did things for the gang that caught the attention of US law enforcement. He managed to hack into and leak many encrypted data banks, showing shady corporate/ government activities to the wider public. It was for this reason that he was caught, charged, and sent to death row, although he still maintained his kindness during his last days. After being taken in by the foundation and taken to Europe, his starting days at the foundation were... interesting. He had a habit of being found in odd places, such as inside SCP chambers, wandering the halls after somehow managing to accidentally breach D-block (many times he also just sat on the railing of the D-block checkpoint), and as a side note, many SCPs have a sort of... fondness, for him? Interest? He also seems to have more luck regarding SCPs, surviving near impossible odds, like as escaping SCP-106's pocket dimension multiple times, successfully evading SCP-049 and many SCP-049-1 instances, and even successfully convincing (bribing?) SCP-682 to spare his life with chocolate. (Although Samuel was still badly inured from SCP-682's attack, leaving his right arm almost completely gone. Luckily, SCP-2295 found and helped him, leaving his right arm made almost entirely out of skin colored fabrics, designating it as an SCP-2295-1 instance.)
*OOC, I might use the arm lore for a PAC model if I buy the pack in the future
Along with his pacifism, he is an understanding and willing member of foundation staff, no longer acknowledging or indulging his in his past and the actions that came from it. He is now reformed, and known among many of the staff of the facility as "The Candyman" or "The nice/easy one", the reasons being his forementioned kindness/ willing attitude, and his habit of giving chocolate to the staff and SCPs alike.
As another odd note, he seems to have a surprisingly heavy resistance to chemicals, especially amnestics. He was once taken to the medical wing after an
SCP-▊▊▊ test and injected with class A amnestics, but after some time, they had no effect. He was injected 4 to 5 more times before the amnestic properly wiped his recent memory, but he reports as saying that after an unspecified amount of time, he regained his memories. This also affects the amnestics used in keeping the illusion of their freedom after the 3-month period, but he doesn't seem to mind, nor be affected by the thought of staying inside the foundation. As of 1/1/20▊▊ (US Calendrer), he is nearly 2 years into foundation custody, which ironically enough, is his date of birth.
