I very much enjoy the idea of SCP-096. The fact it murders anyone who looks at its face makes for amazing situations for a mass breach and great rp potential. The panic ensued on site if someone on surface saw its face is very much a core part of what makes a breach a breach. The difficulty of containing it when it is in a highly populated area can make it challenging for all personnel dealing with the breach and creates a well needed skill check of the personnel. Can they bucket 096 and prevent people from looking at it as they are containing it or will they fail and cause countless people to die? I very much enjoy this concept, especially in a breach. I've breached many times as different SCPs but the most fascinating one so far is SCP-106. Instead of raining down hellfire, personnel have to be smart when bringing a d-class to recontain 106 is difficult in a mass breach and takes much more brain over brawn. This is similar to dealing with 096, you can't rain hellfire at it, you must be smart and approach it when in an advantageous position. This makes it so much different to most SCPs and in my opinion the most lethal breach in a populated area.
What is the usual behaviour of SCP-096 when pacified?:
SCP-096 will sit down and cry when pacified when outside of its containment cell. After around 60 seconds it is allowed to roam around slowly to wherever it desires. When inside of its containment cell, it will usually pace by the walls of the cell, most often the west wall. SCP-096 is not at all aggressive in this state and is extremely passive. If its face is not seen, it will not fight, resist or escape.
When breached, where is SCP-096 allowed to go? Can SCP-096 beeline straight to D-Block?:
SCP-096 is only permitted to sprint in the most direct path to the target that saw its face. For example if the target is in medbay, it must go straight to medbay in the fastest way there. it is not permitted to detour wherever it pleases to try and get some extra targets. If the target is in D-block, it is permitted to beeline for d-block if its only target is in there, if there is a closer target them it must attack that person before going to d-block.
How is SCP-096 re-contained? Please describe all steps of the process:
1. Personnel must find and terminate the SCP-096-1 before SCP-096 reaches them to avoid SCP-096 being in a populated area.
2. Personnel must place a bucket on SCP-096's head as quickly as possible, aggressive or passive.
3. When SCP-096 is passive, it must be beamed and cuffed and taken back to its containment cell in the least populated way possible to avoid personnel seeing its face if the bucket breaks.
4. SCP-096 must be kept in a low populated area until the doors to its containment cell are fixed. This is a higher priority than placing SCP-096 in its containment cell as SCP-096 will simply roam outside of its containment cell.
5. When the doors are fixed, SCP-096 is to be placed into its containment cell and all personnel are to leave its containment area.
