What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Removes the "drop714" console command. Adds a "Remove SCP-714" hold-E prompt when looking at another player, similar to elastic restraints.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I am aware of.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Replaces OOC console command with an immersive IC mechanic.
Allows researchers to remove the ring from D-Class themselves, as going for ECT takes long enough that the D-Class usually does not survive the ring test.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Reduces the interaction with medical staff for SCP-714 testing.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It improves gameplay flow and realism by making the ring a physical object you can remove rather than using the console.

YOU CAN DROP THE RING?!
+Major Support
Honestly, it should just be part of the C menu, like bodycams/helmetcams/NVGs/SCRAMBLEs. I think that would be the best and least annoying way to do it.

EDIT: Didn't understand the suggestion, but I agree that you should be able to try and force unequip it from other people. Especially in a testing situation where a D-Class puts it on and a GSD has to try and get them to take it off. Anyway, -Support for removing the console command, I agree that's not intuitive and removing it yourself should be easier, so I stand by what I said. There's no need to remove the console command, just give us a UI element as I said above, that I guess could just run that console command? No need to overcomplicate.

TIL you can remove 714

+/- Support

+ support for the interaction to remove it from others.
- support for removing the command to take it off yourself. A chat command (/drop714 perhaps?) to be able to take it off would be a nice addition.
