What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is to make 860 a surface SCP to add more variety to him and it could still work "lore wise"
he would spawn at the entrance of Pinewood essentially coming out of the forest and and can be agro to everything as the presence within pinewood is threatening his home.
This would allow a mapper (if accepted in time for the new SCP containments to be added) to remove his dimension & his CC giving the map a tad more usability when it comes to creating new rooms / CC's or maybe even a location for one of the new SCP's if they are to be placed in LCZ.
I feel this could also make the literal dead content of an SCP to become desired again as even with the new surface SCP in the works this will just add to what people will be able to turn into for a surface SCP effectively giving NU-7/DEA, CI & something else to do minimizing those afk sections of their daily activities.
I feel it could also be a chance for cloak to create more animalistic powers he could have lingering in his mind as this would / could also be an update for the SCP but that's more of a suggestion of the suggestion than a suggestion in itself
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ SCP would be played again (possibly)
+ Would give room for one of the new SCP's given his current teleport room CC is redesigned
+ the dimension would be removed giving mapping room for whoever is creating the new CC's in mapping to have a tiny bit more breathing room for either the area they are putting the CC's in or more room for the DEA/IA office & interro sprucing up.
+ Would make FailRP nuke surviving impossible to do due to the dimension people do it in being gone.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- could take a bit to fully implement due to SCP's being iffy to edit and could cause issues / bugs that'd require fixing immediately.
- Development time overall as the SCP would require re-coding to work without a dedicated CC & to work as the surface SCP's do.
- Would add to the few SCP's that would just go around killing civs making them not be able to scavenge when they want / need to.
- Would make it so he could be abused / Teaming with GOI's for easy sampling runs if he has anything tied to him interms of chemicals.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
i feel this should be accepted as currently 860 is dead content bar those extremely rare times when someone new to the server wants to find out what the SCP is / what he does and conducts already overly repeated tests on 860 (if there's a player even on the SCP). This could also be an opportunity to fix so many issues regarding his dimension staff usually have to deal with often and could essentially revitalise the SCP.
