What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

Adds a communication line dedicated to SCP-912, where both 912 and exclusively security personnel can communicate through.
IA would also have access to this communications line to monitor if security personnel are abusing it.
The comm line would be "/912" and would look like "[912] <NAME>: <MESSAGE>"

Both Security Personnel and SCP-912 may only use this communication line for good reasons and are not to abuse it, misuse of 912's communication line would end up in an arrest for Misuse 2. SCP-912's punishment would be recontainment.

Personnel can order 912 through the comms line, but only when a given reason is in their order so that they cannot abuse it. For example: "912, arrest that chef for letting out D-Class" OR "Arrest that researcher if they open airlock again". Security personnel wouldn't need to give a reason to 912 in person in future if this suggestion is to pass.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not to my knowledge.
I'm pretty sure there would be some sort of suggestion for SCP comm's, but it wouldn't make sense as having a radio wouldn't suit most SCP's character.
For SCP-912 it does make sense since he's supposed to be a walking suit of armor acting as a SWAT soldier.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
912 would be able to be more useful to the site by reporting on:
- Hostile, non-military uniformed personnel.
- D-Class are escaping through catwalk or airlock.
- Vital doors are broken.
- Other SCP containment breaches only if 912 isn't breached themselves.
- No security personnel being at D-Block or other POI's.
- Gunshots are going off in an area. (Only if gunshot's are from non-uniformed personnel, must confirm before reporting.)

If 912 ever got stuck behind a keycard required door or any other zone, they'd be able to ask on comms to be assisted and not get indefinitely stuck.
Same goes if 912 willingly wants to go into an area like D-Block or their CC.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
A 912 player may call out the position of other faction personnel, breaking rule 6 of his subsection in section 6.6 of the MOTD. A prevention for this is to put in the rules that 912 must not call out the position of uniformed hostiles in his comms.
Security personnel may abuse this comm line in either a malicious or useless way, such as giving 912 unethical orders or ordering 912 to do useless tasks. Again, their punishment would be arrest for Misuse 2.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
+ Allows for 912 to be more used for RP reasons.
+ Adds more depth to 912's character, why wouldn't a walking suit of armor not have a walkie-talkie?
+ Gives 912 players a reason to be more active instead of just waiting to breach.
- May cause a faction's raid to fall apart if a SCP-912 player isn't knowledgeable about the rules (via 912 calling out their location).

...yeah, okay. that or just CL1 only comms (so just /c1, no /c), which would give a use to CL1 comms

i have stated in the past that "under no circumstances should an scp have comms," as it's too abusable and creates too many weird situations, but this has too little room for that happening for it to be a concern. even then, could just take it away when he breaches
+Support

I had considered putting the red highlighted in the suggestion that his comm line would lock or become useless when 912 does breach.
Making it useless instead of locking would be better since if it did lock on breach it'd be alot more easier to tell when 912 is breached.

I think a workaround for this is to still give him a dedicated comm line, make it read only & only security personnel can communicate orders through it, IA would have access to the comm line but aren't allowed to send orders through it and only have access to it for monitoring purposes. It'd make sense for 912's character as an actual SWAT officer would respond to any orders that came through their radio accordingly.

I did think how making his comm's read-only for SCP-912 would lead to situations where security would be unsure if 912 has gotten their order or not, as it'd look off if his comms were like this:
"[912] <OFFICER>: 912, come to D-block
<Radio silence from SCP-912>"
instead of this.
"[912] <OFFICER>: 912, come to D-Block.
[912] <SCP-912>: Copy."

To be honest, making it read only is kind of a 50/50.

+Support on the condition that there is a rule where you can't order 912 to go places through Comms. This would be to avoid situations where, for example, CI ask 912 to follow them. But GSD just repeatedly spam orders for him to return to Dblock

As for this, either other factions dont have access to his comms ever or an In-Roleplay action can happen where CI hack SCP-912 comm's to order him and lock Foundation out of the comms (to prevent back and forths).
I think the in-RP action would be alot more fun.
