Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This would make longer-term RP involving SCPs actually possible without it having to be the same player every time. Right now, there's no way for a player to know what the SCP they're playing knows IC, what RP it has been engaged in that could come up, or how they should act in different situations/with different SCPs and people. It would also provide new players with a deeper introduction into the SCP's server lore.
Add a documents/lore-tracking system to SCPs. When on an SCP, a person would be able to run a command/press a button to open a menu that would:
- Allow the player to add a note to the stored lore, approved by CL5/SL similar to the vcomputers document approval system
- These notes would be about significant RP interactions, things the SCP has learnt, etc.
- Allow the player to view all previous notes

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Allows longer-term RP with SCPs without the same person having to be the SCP
- Allows players that actually do roleplay as SCPs to remain consistent with the server lore
- Gives SCPs something interesting to read while not breached and not being tested on
- Allows new players to understand the server lore of an SCP, as they may not know e.g. how 7722 has acted in the past, or the things that 079 has seen and knows.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Dev time
- More SL duties
